The Anda peninsula, which has a breadth of 10 km and a coastline of 30 km, is a fascinating area of Bohol Island. One side, facing the Bohol Sea, is full of white beaches with powdery sand. The other side, facing Cogtong Bay and Limasawa Island (where Magellan’s entourage celebrated the first Catholic mass in the Philippines), is just the opposite: it is full of muddy swamps, where mangroves and seafood like shrimps, clams, seaweeds, fish, and crabs abound. The central part is mountainous and densely forested, so few people inhabit the area, as they prefer the seaside. The peninsula has a mystic atmosphere, specifically the Lamanok Pt. It is in this setting that the first inhabitants of the island flourished, giving the peninsula the name "Bohol's cradle of civilization".

I have never been to Bohol but I have heard of its beauty. How does this compare staying where the busy Hennans are? Great video and a superb find of a gem. Cheers :)
@OneArmedWanderer19 күн бұрын
It's definitely quiet and peaceful here compared to Alona where Hennan hotels are. Thanks a lot Sir John!! Cheers!!
