In these videos, they always criticize that the character doesn't roll, which is absolutely valid, BUT your character starts off as someone with no experience as stated in the game itself. He wouldn't know to roll. There are perks that improve his speed and skills as the game goes on, including rolling and catching himself with his hands on bigger jumps.

@@OmarZaki Hey Omar. What most of the gameplay showed you was a bunch of shit, you can actually roll without gaining damage. There is a lot in the game you didn’t see when it comes to leveling up, during your gameplay of leveling up you’ll get more parkour moves

Dying light inspired me to attempt parkour so now I can jump high enough to clear a Balcony still trying to do a dash vault can’t seem to work up the courage because I don’t want to break my neck

Good for you! Just make sure to learn and progress safely and slowly. There's tons of great tutorials online and hopefully a gymnastics or parkour gym near you that might be able to help with learning
