Trust me, I know about training and I know how hard it is to get to do stuff at this level. Whenever someone is able to refine a skill to the point where they are far better than the vast majority of other people... I call that talent.

Parkour is point A to B as fast and as efficiently as possible, Freerunning is point A to B with style, Tricking is doing the flips and moves found in freerunning in a relatively stationary area. This is how i personally define them, but honestly its really all the same to me. Its all in fun. Its the art of movement.

the best tutorial is to watch the performer as he performs the flip and watch every part of the body in slow motion as he is performing the flip, and try to do so in the gym,this works for me 100% it's better than watching tutorials, BTW if you're not able to do the flip as good as him U can record a video from yourself and watch yourself side by side as he is doing the flip, see what he is doing that you're not doing during the flip this will help almost better than the best tutorials.good luck

I've been learning backflips for a little while now, I gotta say it likes 80% just getting over the fear, as soon as you do it once and you realise that you aren't gonna hurt yourself then it will come really quickly.

in a video Ryan Doyle explains how the ''parkour'' word has change, freerunning is like doing crazy and hard things using your imagination like flips and jumps but the objective is just having fun, and now when people train parkour they go to different spots and they do crazy jumps, they do hard vaults but also they have fun doing what they love, so it doesn't matter how do you call it parkour or freerunning, the only thing that matter is to have fun and enjoy your life

I'm so jealous of you. I'm a freerunner/Traceur, But I have Osgood Schlatters in my right knee, so I can't practice too much because it causes pain/irritation after a while (about three hours), but i can do most vaults (exept the pop, gate and monkey) and I can do a roll. I used Ryan Doyle's technique (but I still land hard), and I noticed yours is different, so I'm gonna watch it in slow-mo and try it out. I'm a big fan of the whole team and any tips to become better would be much appreciated.

Parkour is all about getting from A to B in the fastest time possible whatever the obstacles, being bale to move fluidly free-running is mainly really cool tricks that can be implemented with parkour that's how i understand it anyway :)

Yes I have, but just because he doesn't do flips in them doesn't mean freerunning isn't flips, that's like saying I didn't see a flint make fire on the first strike therefore it doesn't make fire. He doesn't have many videos but he has done flips in one or two, plus he's getting on a bit, he's 40-ish I think, the body isn't built to do that when it gets older
