This was the best presentation ever. It fully explain the Obsbot Tail Air NDI setup. Thanks so much for this.

Thank you so much for the video. I have watched a ton of NDI Obsbot videos and yours is the only one that showed me my mistake was the mis assignment of thee IP addresses - I feel like such a dummy. Thank you again _ kevin

Nice video! But why wouldn't you use the NDI wirelessly?

Wow, I have the same setup including same lightstands! :-) You are going to love using this battery banks with the OBSBOT Tail Air - TELESIN Selfie Stick Charging Power Bank when using in wireless NDI.

Fantastic! Finally a video that shows what to do from A to Y. Job well done. But what I need to know additionally is the 'Z'. Suppose I am running thse cameras as you've defined, and suppose I'm running OBS and all the configuation is set per your suggestions. If the POE switch is connected to my PC via the uplink port in the switch, how do I send the live stream to youtube? I want to connect direct to the client router to send the stream to the internet.

Yes, good question. You would have a few options. 1. You can use WiFi if that’s an option on your PC. 2 you can you a USB network adapter to Ethernet. Or lastly (this is what I do) I have a PCIe card in my PC that has 2 NICs so I have 2 separate Ethernet networks. It’s also best to keep the NDI network and the streaming connection separate as NDI is very heavy on bandwidth. Hope this helps.
Is it possible to see the camera preview on desktop similar to what you see on the phone app? How do you quickly manipulate it pan/tilt/zoom without doing it in OBS or remote control? Maybe an NDI joystick

Sorry the link for the Camera should be working now! www.obsbot.com/store/products/obsbot-tail-air?rfsn=8113160.d57fb1d&.d57fb1d

looks like a lot of mouse clicks to get to PTZ controls within OBS, what would you recommend other than the OBSbot remote switcher? would an ATEM mini pro ISO switcher work? it would be nice to easily controle 2 or more cameras from my MacBook Pro. any suggestions welcome -and thanks for the GREAT video. how do you set a MAC to IP manual?
@ParkPassTV12 күн бұрын
Actually OBSBot makes a switcher that integrates with the Tail Air really nicely! It’s the OBSBot Talent. I usually use the OBSBOT canter app on my PC for control as well. A black magic switcher would also pair nicely with the TailAir HDMI output.
@ParkPassTV12 күн бұрын
In the app you can choose to set the IP as static or dynamic. It’s a dropdown in the bottom of the settings tab. I recommend static as I’ve had better luck that way.

How do you live streaming from this since the ethernet cable goes in to your laptop straight meaning you won’t have internet for this purpose. Mind sharing if you do this with internet ?Thanks
@ParkPassTVАй бұрын
You can stream using WIFI on the same computer. Or by using a second Ethernet adapter such as a PCIe Ethernet card or USB Ethernet adapter. It’s also helpful to keep your NDI network separate from your internet network as NDI uses locally hi bandwidth. Hope this helps!

A little confusing about which link to use to purchase the Obsbot camera and is the licence good for a lifetime? Total cost? I am thinking about starting a KZbin channel. When I ask what most people use they say their IPhone. I have an android but if where to use my phone I would need to purchase a new phone anyway? What you recommend for someone getting started and has yet moneyitise using KZbin?
@ParkPassTV4 ай бұрын
The license is only needed if using the special NDI (broadcast type) feature. Otherwise this camera is great for someone just starting. It’s easy to use out of box and can stream directly to KZbin via WiFi or cellular! The first link for the camera is to buy directly from OBSbot. The second is to buy from Amazon. You save 5 percent with the code. I would recommend this for someone who is looking to stream or record from home. Good luck! Thanks for watching. Ask away if you have more questions!

As for total cost. The camera is a little under $500 total

In OBS > NDI source > Properties > Latency mode > Lowest (Unbuffered) Now, you have video with no audio latency. Your welcome.
