I just did my first sub 3 marathon in Valencia yesterday in the exact same pair vaporflys. The rear grips came off at 8k and I still did it. 🤣 Every other person at the start line were wearing the swankiest of new runners including pro evo 1’s and alphafly 3’s and I rock up in a 4 year old 250km pair of vaporflys next %. I probably won’t wear them again now the rear grips are gone. 😭😭😭😭

I’ve been wearing my adidas pro 3s for over 1300km, I still do my threshold and intervals in them, did a 10k threshold in 37 minutes they still feel great👍

I’m still doing most runs in a pair of vaporfly 2s. As of tonight’s run they’ve done 1179km and still going. A couple of weeks ago I won a parkrun in them and still doing sub 19 in them too. Most runners ruin their super shoes through poor form or being overweight 🤷‍♂️

@@JMC2727 hey I feel personally attacked by that! 🤣 At 90kg, running 43mins 10km and 20mins 5km I destroy all running shoes quickly! My form whilst not great is not terrible. Anyhow I bet you would be faster in a new pair!
