@@semisemicoloncolon Did you not watch Infinity War and Endgame? Over 14 million realities, and they did the one that ends with them winning. Star lord lashing out was foreseen and part of the plan. In fact the reason Dr. Strange stalled the fight for so long, and didn't just give him the stone was that 1. Thor and the team needed to know that Stormbreaker COULD injure Thanos. 2. The snap needed to be timed right so that the survivors were those who could reverse the Snap and 3. The rat needed to be in the exact right place so that 5 years later, it would release Scott, showing Tony and the team how to get the Infinity Stones back.

If star lord didn’t freak out, how would they have failed? They literally had him. Or maybe one of the things that happened in every timeline was star lord getting mad, just because that was a given thing that would happen no matter what. I mean yeah you could make the argument that dr strange let that happen because it was the only possible way they could win but I still think that quote doesn’t make much sense.

Now you have an even more pissed Thanos, but now you have no long distance fight like Stark, (the only person capable of hurting him without special weapons) or an emotional manipulator, so you get to deal with a pissed off god using the powers of Space, Power, Soul and Reality. Could I come up with 14 million ways Thanos wins? Probably not, but most of them probably involve in the team either winning, until they underestimate him, and he outright kills them, or them just being killed in general.

Even without the obesity, the threat of a loss of a big company, and plant would be a financial detriment to many voters. It's a threat of losing tax money that could be used, along with a lot of jobs leaving. Even if you didn't eat Sweetums stuff, you could see it as a huge loss financially. Probably even having friends or family that would be losing jobs.

Its such a small moment, but its things like at 1:50 where in the middle of Leslie trying to speak to him, he has a mini fit, falls back bangs his head on the wall and just says "Ahhh ffff...it's not padded!" while she's talking. I don't know if it was unscripted or not, but it feels like it was, which I think is a testament to the acting. It feels like Paul / Bobby genuinely expected there to be padding, but when he bumps his head he completely stays in character and reacts how a kid having a fit would, not caring at all that someone else is talking and immediately shifting his attention to him banging his head and commenting on it.
