Ken was always one of those people who trusted Leslie to do the right thing, even when she messed up. In a town & career where so many people are only ever looking out for themselves, Leslie was always looking out for other people and always tried to do the right thing. Her interactions with Ken always show the effort she puts in to recognize all of Pawnee history, the good & the bad. I suppose one could view it as White Guilt, but I believe it demonstrates her willingness to tackle obstacles head on instead of dancing around them. Also, I love when Ken comes up to Ben, says "Here, stupid" in Wamapoke, then just throws dirt in his face. Kills me every time.
@54raynor Жыл бұрын
It’s also very consistent with how she treats everybody in Pawnee. The people know she has everyone’s best interests at heart and puts others before herself, even if they don’t always agree with her. That’s why the Police Chief agrees to help with security for the Harvest Festival, the airport “loses” the bag that contains a bad interview, JJ’s diner lists her as their favorite customer, and someone like Ron Swanson goes above and beyond to support her political career.
