Yes, reading the manual provided with the product explained the usage of spikes. They are used to fix the laser on wall/surface for horizontal laser line.

Great and quick guide! Unfortunately mine doesnt do too good detecting AC wires, maybe I need more pratice.

Mine detects an entire wall as AC wire, and detects no wire in the opposite side. Its a Guess-O-Meter.

You can clearly see in the video that also his device doesnt detect the wires in the wall, only those in the socket, just pay attention to the video. He says “nice”, even if you can see clearly that it doesnt work 😅

Treabalo bi da ima u uputstvu. Ali u kom modu izbacuje eer? Kad je za merenje daljine najcesce ne moze da dobije odraz lasera nazad (velika razdaljina ili cudna povrsina koja reflektuje cudno)

What you have done it is not a reliable testing. However, even so, it looks it fails.

AC detector does not work so do not buy it for that feature
