I've got the 2.0 going on 5 years now. Super handy to have in the house while the big toys stay in the garage. I use it for furniture, the odd hinge, occasionally tweak up a bike with it... If I do see this 2.2 come up in the centre isle I'll be grabbing it.

Great review. I live in the USA just outside NYC. I purchased it at Lidl and the store is always full of Germans visiting manhattan. 👍 I love the store, great deals and quality products. It's become my personal playground. 😂 Have you noticed that the screw driver looks like Deckard's Blaster from the movie Blade Runner? 🤣

Thanks! I didn't know Lidl was in that part of the world actually. Yea It does look like the Blaster actually lol!

I have to say that, at a glance in the store, I mistook this item for one of the Parkside toy range I saw in Lidl before Christmas. Now I've seen the vid, I'm off back to Lidl tomorrow to get one 👍

For £12.99 this thing is great , i bought one a week or so ago to put up some flat pack furniture as i felt my dewalt drill was a bit powerfull for that and might split the wood ect. Its pretty good for putting small screws in ligth thin wood to again where you dont want to much power. This little Electric screwdriver is awsome for light application stuff as long as people dont expect to much from this its a great tool and the bit change system is great. Fansatic for flat packed stuff and light DIY i tend to stay away from cheap tools now after upgradeing most off my power tools from cheap stuff like Black and Decker to Dewalt just makes the DIY task faster and easier. However i find the parkside stuff i have used in the past is pretty decent. I really like this little screwdriver awsome bit off kit for applications i intended to buy it for.

I got it now. I used my fingers to "split" it apart.

On that side where there is a tiny clip that sticks out, above it stick something thin metal into the seam and it will unclip that clip. On the earlier version of this screwdriver, the clip was somewhat easier to open, on the newer version that is 2.2 the cap clip doesn’t have a space to stick your fingernail to open it. Maybe that clip that I mentioned above needs a tiny bit of filing off like half of millimetre - to make a tiny space for you nail to go in and split them to open. Hope that makes sense. I had mine for about 3 years, and I still put the cap clip back every time I use it.

Interesting inexpensive device. I like the way the bits revolve and internally load for quick use. Seems pretty handy for light work. Don't think I've seen this brand before. Good review

The ones I see in store now are £14.99 and no rapid feature. I'm still tempted though as I don't have a good set of screwdrivers and the impact driver doesn't need to be whacked out to tighten some screws 😅

I've had mine for about 4 months and it's now broken after light use - the plastic threads holding on the front face on has snapped. This tool is absolutely useless, it's under powered and cheaply made, hence the price tag. Need to find my receipt now to claim under warranty 😭

Have you not scanned your Lidl card? If you have scanned your Lidl card from the app, then the digital receipt is in your app. If you don’t have an app that saves receipts for you (many shops don’t offer an app that saves records of receipts), then just take a photo of your receipt that you want to keep and that is good enough as a proof and for warranty/ return.
