I film a lot of gigs I go to as well, this really does look like a really good medium sized venue though :L Stretches back far, lots of headroom, clearly good but clear side access (where you're stood) cheers for the video man (y) Parkway are literally my favourite band, only managed to see them live once though shamefully!

That's awesome man! And yes it is! There are a few venues that are a decent size smaller, and one other venue that is used when bigger bands like Prada come through called The Marquee. This was definitely a borderline show though...I feel like they could have booked the marquee, but I'm glad they didn't...because i feel like more energy is generated when everyone's packed in tight. This show was sold out at about 1,100 people or so. It's the best venue for filming for sure. Thank you for complimenting my video, I really appreciate the support! Parkway is an awesome band, I wish they would come back more.

Honestly, I just use a Sony handheld camcorder I bought about 3 years ago for around $500...shoots in 1080p and for some reason, is able to handle high decibel levels incredibly well. I have an external mic, but I rarely use it for live music

Hey dude! Yeah, school and work have been kicking my butt for a good amount of time now unfortunately. I actually shot the Acacia Strain show a few months ago, but the venue lighting was absolutely horrible, so none of the footage came out well :( I was pretty bummed about that, because like you had said, I haven't had any footage for awhile and wanted to be able to share some new content. I'm not going to be able to hit the MIW show, BUT I am planning on filming The Devil Wears Prada playing their entire Zombie EP on the 25th! Super stoked on that one. Hopefully I'll be able to get some other band's sets from that lineup as well...any requests? I appreciate the support though and you staying tuned with this channel, it means a lot! Take care man.

At this show in particular it was insane! Im usually go moshing but I got reallt hurt at this show due to it being sold out and packed so tight that the mosh pit and the hardcore dancing pit started to collide...it was intense...but for parkway, extremely worth it.
