Parkway Drive - Idols and Anchors (guitar cover)

I'm doing another Parkway Drive song. This song has a cool tapping interlude. I'm using my pick instead of my finger to get it to ring out more clearly. There's also a nice little solo at the end. The rest of the song is pretty straightforward. Some down picking speed is required for the verse riff though. Note that there is an odd stop/start transition you will hear because it is impossible to go seamlessly into the tapping part from the chorus riff. I transcribed the song by ear and my tab is available on my website or Ultimate-Guitar.com. To KillerBuckeye: It's been 15 years since I first came across this video, time flies. I was already playing, starting out, but you really inspired me to practice, play, and get good in my own terms of sense. I love this song and video, I have rewatched it so many times to learn. I'll admit, I fell out of the music for a long while, but I still get the urge and immediately think of this video. Parkway Drive came on the other day and my first thought was you and to see this, what you're up to. I also have a few kids of my own so my time on the guitar is sacrificed. Anyone that plays that instrument knows it takes hands on time to stay good at it.
