My father and Mother lost their boat on the black rocks in Fiji , Dick who has since past from Musket Cove was so supportive and helped them with accomodation , rescuing them and salvaging what gear they could from the yacht . Being ferro it’s now part of the reef . I have sailed past that reef several times now and always have a little lump in the back of my throat .

Hi Parlay crew!! We love u guys & look forward to watching you guys every Sunday with a few sun-downers 🍻we’re not sure if you already plan to go to Palau in your South Pacific travels but we highly recommend going there especially to Koror in the rock islands, it has everything! The marine life has been protected since the 70s so it has incredible coral reefs and marine life that fills the water column from 50 ft down! WW2 relics of tanks, ships, Japanese tunnels etc are also everywhere super amazing place we wouldn’t want you to miss the opportunity to see it. We live on the island of Maui in Hawaii & Palau blew us away!!

So sad to hear about your friends losing their yacht on a reef in Fiji. We had Open CPN satellite charts and found heaps of unmarked reefs all over Fiji. How good is Minerva reel. Best place we have ever been too !!
