This AI narration is annoying. Can’t it pronounce Parmigianino the same way twice? I’m happy to become acquainted with his work. But this talk of elongated necks and eroticism is contrived. Have you seen Michaelangelo’s sculpture of David? Same era; same elongated neck. I think it’s a style born of the Renaissance. Also, the elongation of the fingers is featured in other paintings of Parmigianino. Including the Christ-child’s fingers. It’s his particular style and handling of this part of the anatomy.
