i hope in the future the joy for all cats have more movement! Maybe they could be able to move both of their paws in a kneading motion, stick their tounge out, and fully flip back their ears! It would be cool if they came in different colors like black or tuxedo!! I am very excited to see the future of these guys

Joy for All does come in Tuxedo now, it's a newly released color! There is also a Joy for All kitten available on Amazon which looks more limited, but has a paw kneading motion.

TBH my ideal therapeutic robot would be huge, heavy, and soft- to provide deep pressure therapy. I know they already train dogs to do that, but I'm incredibly scared of dogs. So even assuming I had the money, time, and living space for a therapy dog, I would prefer a robot.

One thing I noticed during the video is that the Joy for all cat's meows are loud, annoying, and unrealistic. Like a human saying "meow" rather than an actual cat meowing. Paro's noises are cute, quieter, and less frequent. The Joy for all team should take a hint from this. It really isn't difficult to fix, and seems mostly lazy to me.

Paro's noises actually come from real baby seals. Takanori Shibata recorded baby seals crying to use in Paro.

Both are cute but I prefer PARO. It's too cute. Paro Therapeutic Robotic Seal from 2004 takes the cake in my opinion though Joy for All Cat is good too.

Me too! Maybe sometime in the far far far away future. I was thinking something like a laptop would have with a cooling system but that would probably not work and be very loud.

I hope other companies start to make more therapy animal robots in the future. I think it would be really helpful for younger people (like me!!!!) too. I have BPD so constant affection and a cute little friend would be good for me(but I feel like it can also get pretty negative fast) I can't take care of a pet so I would like a robotic one. I also hope they make way way way more cheaper options in the future. I think the Joy for All Kitten is like $60 dollars but that's still kinda expensive. I get it tho. They are robots and those are expensive. Maybe I get one but honestly I may lose interest in it pretty quickly so I think that's why I'm hesitant to buy.

Its really worthy to have one. I bought metacat and I think ot is pretty easy to get attached to it. Just treat your robot like an real animal, talk to it, pet it when you are doing sth else: reading, watch sth. You will be happy with it!

Lol 😂 my friend's mom is 94 at home dementia still active and well cared for,,, Her son got her an AI bot kitty like this and it died cause she bathed it. She needs the seal who loves the bathtub.
