Hi Angee, I hope you are well. Thankyou for reacting to this fun song from an equally funny and entertaining movie. In the film, Sridevi's character rents a room from Anil Kapoor's big farmhouse on the understanding that she gets lots of piece and quiet, she doesn't like noise of any kind and especially doesn't like kids (although later in the movie she does begin to like and care about them), Anil Kapoor in need of the rent money accepts her condition and tries his best to keep the kids out of sight, but it proves impossible and eventually she finds out that all these kids are orphans that Anil Kapoor's character has taken in and cared for. So one day when the kids are playing football and they kick the ball into Sridevi's room, angry at them, she refuses to hand back their ball. This "Parody" song is a collection of some of the biggest hits composed by my favourite indian film composers Laxmikant Pyarelal or LP for short, they composed the music for this movie too. They coincidentally composed the music for the Zeenat Azman & Shashi Kapoor classic movie SATAYAM SHIVAM SUNDARAM. Lata Mangeshkar sang many duets with other singers, but my favourite duets were those sung by Lata & another Legendary singer, his name was Mohammad Rafi, when these two voices sang together it was a match made in heaven, two sweet voices, even after all these years they are a delight to listen to, even Lata ji said once in an interview that I sang lots of duets with Mohd Rafi and a lot of our songs I still enjoy listening to, even today, high praise for one legend from another.
