That.Guy.Peggy that’s nearly exactly what happened to me! Except I finished in a day and then rewatched it subbed because for some reason I was told to watch it dubbed. Then I was depressed for the rest of that night realizing I had finished our gift from God.. then I rewatched it again the next day until my KZbin recommended was just yuri on related videos. Victurii is the best thing in my life and I think I have scared my brother by telling him how amazing Victor is, but when on a plane and I had so smartly downloaded it on my iPad he watched an episode with me and agreed it was good. But my obsession with it still scares him.

to be honest it could be gr9 if the ship actually becomes cannon because there aren't many 'mainstream' animes with openly gay main characters and personally i think this would be such a big leap for the lgbtq+ community as by judging what we get right now, the production group aren't 'fetish-izing' or 'queer-baiting'. these two literally are acting like a married couple. to be honest, lgbtq norms in some parts of asia(if not most parts) are still seen by some people as 'fetishes' or 'disgusting' so if victuuri becoming cannon may help with destroying that a bit. because why do sports animes and shonen animes have to have hetero leads to be deemed a 'normal' 'mainstream' anime? why can't we have openly lgbtq+ leads without it having to be a yaoi or shonen-ai (just imo huhuhu ; ; )
