Nancy, you have a few years on me (12), but I was in the same boat - pretty much disappointed (if not outright disgusted) with what is on the radio today. Finally found Parov, Swingrowers, Chinese Man, Tape Five, Swing italia, Caravan Palace, and a bunch of others that help keep the blood pumping. Great stuff! Been spending a bloody small fortune on CD's lately ( can't stand MP3 recordings!)

Hey Dale. I'm 100% with your sentiment. But it's this band that should be everywhere. Not us. Electro Swing is not brand new. But what I think makes this band UNIQUE, other than their lead lady singer who kept me awake in Intensive Care for wrong reasons, is their FBGC formula. It's my innovation for their formula anyway. "Familiarity Breeds Great Content". They mix or mashup perfectly and could carry on doing so - timelessly. I love them! Oh! @@jakobw.9920 I know my friend. But the swing part come from the vintage mimic, the music don't have much swing composent that are swinged notes , 2-5-1 chords progression , 7th chords. Maybe the saxophonist blowing is very swing. I don't say Parov Stellar is not good ; It is light and uplifting . But swing/electro swing is not what they do. They do pop.

i'm going to be honest. i didn't know Parov Stelar was a band, i thought it was just a guy that made edm and had sampling and fabricated the swing portion of the band. altho the band isn't going hard all the time, it's cool hearing/seeing them play. they have great stage presence together.

It's SO good to see young ppl enjoying really good music! I & husband (75 & 82) stopped going to clubs in Phnx area ~2013 bc it was virtually all hip-hop; nothing really good in EDM scene we'd been enjoying together since we joined up in 2000. Today was our first time hearing Parov Stelar & we're hooked :) Great stuff!! Any clubs in NoAmer playing this Electronic Swing?

Esto es maravilloso, tengo 81 años, hace 5 me hice fanático de la música loca del 1920, luego seguí con las bandas de New Orleans y ahora me tropiezo con PARLOV. Estoy fanatizado con sus conciertos y música suelta. La escucho todo el tiempo mientras trabajo en la PC. Me da energía y me levanta el ánimo. La Barbie Clloe Panther....insuperable y sensual...I love this!!!
