These are a few scenes filmed by Boris Behncke (INGV-Osservatorio Etneo) during the paroxysmal eruptive episode at Etna's New Southeast Crater on the evening of 23 February 2013. The first bits were filmed from Behncke's home in Tremestieri Etneo at the beginning of the activity. Then come various bits recorded from different sites, starting at Fleri village and then Pisano, Santa Venerina, all on the southeast flank of Etna. Much of the audio in that part is disturbed by the strong wind blowing. The final sequence, still with footage from Santa Venerina and then Milo, further north, has the eruption roar of Etna in the soundtrack; to obtain a discretely clean sound recording, the microphones of the camera had to be protected holding a coat around the camera.
