I looked at your stats at SocialBlade after you published this video. The whole channel went up to 50+k views/day, if I remember correctly, and then the viewership declined to your typical numbers. The same often happens with other channels too nowadays. New videos get comparatively small views, but the whole channel numbers increase (sometimes significantly) after a new video is published. As for motivation, it was a big problem for me too :) After trying to convince myself that Monster School (or Stickmen) is very popular and that is why I MUST make it, I finally decided to make small videos about wolves, as I like the niche, it's pretty much simple to make, and people love it. Most likely I will never earn as much as XDJames or MineCZ, but that's not a big problem. If you don't like cats and dogs niche, you made a cool animation about soldiers and a "3:00 AM" horror story. Those can also be developed into a long series of short animations on various related topics (horror stories would be a hit, I guess :) ) but it's better to create a new channel for that and leave this channel for animals.

Ah I see. I do like making the Life animations, it's been more an issue of not feeling like animating in general. I appreciate the info. I was under the impression it was a typical fluke view fluctuation, but if I can get some more work done I'll try to keep an eye on the stats.
