I went to a parrot show yrs ago and OMG, we stayed up SO late talking, telling stories, sharing tips etc. Was such a fine time meeting so many like minded ppl! I miss my birds, but am disabled now. My female U2 was my best buddy ( not a breeder) she would even lay an unfertile egg either in my lap or on my bed 😂😂😂 Sadly, her poor upbringing led to an early death, she was only about 20-25. My other best buddy was my male Quaker parrot Taz. I LOVED to hear him late at night talking to their eggs telling the they were good birds or pretty birds 😂😂😂😂

Alot of birds end up in rescues because people don't have a clue about living and caring for birds. Then the end up in rescues. So do your research before hand. Talk to people that have birds and meet some birds. Remember how long some of them live

The avian vet in Canada who won the award last year for her work with avian rescue is going broke. The reason her medical bills for medication for the elderly birds that get dumped by their owners. Like humans they usually require medication as they age and a lot of care

I like the idea of feeding pellets, especially for eliminating the attraction of pests to fresh foods and seeds. I would like to still feed some fresh as an alternative. I’m actually looking for a good fresh diet recipe as well. Thanks for sharing. I was wondering what hottest and coldest temps are at the aviaries. I have a 38 yo Yellow Nape Amazon, a 20 yo umbrella Cockatoo, and a 10 yo Nandy Parakeet.

Hello guys! Very good video. I have also a pair of parakeets. I have many questions. How can he pay land taxes by making parrot business? He has a big land. Does he give sunflower seeds everyday besides those pellets? My parrots eat vegetables and sunflower seeds as well every day. Once I fed them with tree branches, peppers and with green apple. That day before evening I gave them seeds. They ate seeds like a bird which did not ate 2 days. Next question is about light in the room. Here it is cold now. I switch on ordinary yellow bulb in the room where my parrots live. There is no big window just small one. Temperature is about +10 C* . Before I kept budgies. But now I am trying to make business on ringneck parrots. Anyway, I love parrots.
