Very cool. I just picked up one of these drones a couple days ago, it's unbelievable. I'm studying Aerospace and Mechanical engineering at Missouri S&T, so I've been around some technologically advanced hardware, and this drone is quite a feat of engineering. I plan on getting some good videos of the campus and the surrounding Missouri Ozarks here soon.

Stock range is ~70 meters. I use a wifi repeater to extend the range to about 200m.

Quick question, What does the emergency button do does it supply power if you ran out or level itself off or just both?

Stock is range is max 30 meters. You wont get more than that. The current firmware of the drone is bugged so you will get WiFi drops and battery goes down to zero in only 1-3 minutes.

It was a neat gadget, but that was all there is to it. Known to be a highly unstable drone with an ever likeliness of a flyaway

Can I use the firmware to control a car sized Drone with a pilot? I'm building one and would like to use the program to pilot it.

8-12 minutes depending on how you fly it.. you can buy better batteries thought that last 15-20 minutes, on top of the original battery, that's about 30 mins of battery life. you can find this battery on amazon
