Since dad and I both played the game, we made a family field trip visiting all the In-Game locations for real. And in Rattay, Hans Capon was mentioned twice on stone tablets. One near Pirkstein and the other next to the church, where the In-Game Apothecary is. It was nice to see at least what's left of these places. Only one wall of Talberg Survived, the path to it is still there though. Skalititz is unrecognizable, Sassau and Rattay are almost the same. (Fun fact, you can buy a map in the Sassau church called Henry's Path, Wich is basically the In-Game map + some interesting places to visit while you're in those towns. Pirkstein has been claimed by goats.

Hi! Your pronunciation is all right! One thing though. The translation of "Panská jednota" to "Gentlemen's league" is not exact. The word "Panská" is derived from Pán (which can also be translated as "gentleman"), but in this case the meaing of this word is "Noble". So the correct translation should be "The League of nobles". :)

I have an idea for an alternate storyline. The game begins as usual, with the razing of Skalitz by Sigismund and Henry's journey to Rattay. He gets there, only to find that Radzig has taken over Pirkstein by force and evicted Hans. Hans is in the Upper Castle with Hanush, who is ensuring that Hans stays under his control. Radzig takes Henry into his service and Henry is very grateful to him. Being the naive youngster that he is, Henry doesn't realize that anything is wrong; he continues working for Radzig, seeking out the bandits who massacred the people at Neuhof and the man who stole his father's sword. As time goes on, Henry starts to realize the real situation in Rattay, and that Hans is being taken advantage of by Hanush and Radzig. He's very conflicted by this, because he owes so much to Radzig, but he and Hans have become close friends after the hunting trip and their various adventures, so he starts to sympathize with Hans more and more. This is hardly the time though, because the bandits are a constant menace, and what could young Henry and Hans do when Hanush and Radzig control all the power? Now the wildcard comes in. Divish is still haunted by the time he spent imprisoned within his own castle by Havel Medek. One day at Talmberg, Henry begins talking to Divish about the situation in Rattay. On the one hand, he owes everything to Radzig, but he hates to stand by and watch Hans being robbed of his birthright. Divish, knowing the feeling of being trapped in his own castle, is surprisingly very sympathetic to Hans, and begins to wonder how he may be able to help him out. Back in the main story, the conflict with the bandits and the Cumans is picking up pace. Radzig and Hanush are marshalling their forces for a big push. Divish has become disillusioned by Radzig and Hanush, and has realized that once the bandits have been dealt with, Radzig will have unstoppable local power, and Divish himself will be next on the chopping block in Radzig's quest for power. Henry learns the big secret about his relationship with Radzig, but he has begun to hate him for his growing cruelty and ruthless ambition. Henry is best friends with Hans. Meanwhile, Henry has been left in control of Rattay while Hanush, Radzig, Hans and Divish mount their attack against the massive bandit camp. But Divish has deceived them, and has come stealthily to Rattay. He requests to talk with Henry, but he doesn't have much time. He had hoped to be able to bring Hans along, but Hans had been kept under close guard by Hanush. Divish tells Henry about his planned coup, to take Rattay by stealth while Radzig and Hanush were gone, and deliver the town to Hans. Divish and Hans would keep the balance of power in the region between themselves and would pull the carpet from underneath Radzig. Henry is faced with an impossible decision: he has to choose whether or not to betray his father for what he knows is right. The further difficulty is that Hans is still with Radzig and Hanush, so the plan has already partly failed. At this point, the player is given two main options - support Divish + Hans or remain loyal to Radzig + Hanush. Either way, things are going to be difficult. He has two castles and a large town wall to defend with only a skeleton garrison. This is where player choices throughout the story come into play. The townspeople and the soldiers are kind of split into two factions. The faction that seems to be the strongest is the one that has gone over to Radzig and Hanush. But throughout the game, Henry has become aware of a quiet, but significant minority of people in Rattay who dislike the oppression of Radzig and Hanush, and whose true loyalty lay with Hans. There are various quests in Rattay throughout the game where Henry can pick up on the undercurrent of support for Hans. But it all depends on the player's choices throughout the game. If Henry has generally helped and supported those still loyal to Hans, he may have enough support in the town to overpower Radzig's followers and take control of the town. If not, he will have to use all the skills he has learned to devise a plan and overcome his deficit in numbers. And then some other stuff happens which I'm too tired to think of...

In fact I live quiet near original holdings of various branches of this dynasty their names come from ei. Leipa is Lípa (means linden tree) todays county town in Bohemia, Douba is Dubá (means place surrounded by oak trees), Berka's of Dubá owned several castles, manors, fortifies manor houses and villages going south from their holdings to land full of ravines and woods that lined the south edge of their original domain. Most castles are in good conditions able to be visited still today, strongholds or fortified manors were run by the vassals of the lord and payed their dues in exchange to use of land. Several are still being used as houses today :)
