I have to give Par Save props for shooting multiple angles with such a shallow depth of field to get those more cinematic looking shots with the sick bokeh in an action scenario that is not choreographed. Pulling focus on a shoot where you know exactly what you're subject will be doing is super hard to get perfect. Pulling focus on baskets to the disc golfer while they are running down a putt while the camera man is on foot trotting behind with a monopod is extremely demanding as a camera operator. Not to mention they have external monitors and just their whole rigs. Seriously incredible that you guys are working towards achieving such high production value. This is coming from someone who understands how difficult this level of production is to achieve. For all of you that don't understand anything I'm saying, what I'm trying to say is that these guys are working their asses off for incredible coverage so we can enjoy professional Disc Golf at the highest level with an extremely high production value. Thank you so much Par Save! I admire your dedication. Keep at it!!!!

I agree with you that they're doing a great job in terms of how hard they're working to get their production value up. It's awesome to see, especially in a sport that is still relatively small. One thing I would LOVE to see, however, is consistency with their exposure. It's ALL over the place. I almost had a hard time watching the players play because of how much their exposure fluctuated. In some cases it looked like they were exposing for highlights, others was for shadows. And it is definitely possible to do both and achieve a more consistent exposure, but here that was not the case.

5:32 - your player throw-by-throw graphic is 100% pure, concentrated awesome! I really like the low depth of field on some of the shots, and chasing Ricky after his putt on No.1 was tremendous! I literally do not care if the PSP cameramen have to jog to keep up -- give them waist-mounted steady-cams, and a towel! :D

I don't think I've ever seen another player get outwardly pissed off because another player made a nice putt (hole 4 - Conrad makes the putt at I think was three strokes back). I get competitive, but going down a dark place isn't worth it. Great production though Par Save. Keep it up!

Oh how I wish you guys found a way to fix the video quality issue. You can really see the stark difference between the establishing shots in the beginning to the actual footage (00:20). Mostly everything else is already there. A very enjoyable coverage nonetheless.

Two things I noticed about Kyle's play: when he's pumping the distance shots, it seems like he's over- throwing. I wonder if being on a card with such big arms is affecting that? The other is how quickly he's committing to shots, like the left hand roller. He may improve by taking more time. Either way, he's a hell of a lot better than me, and it's good to see a new, talented player!

People are thinking too hard about this. The tournament says it’s a par three. The hole takes two good shots though to execute a 3. In EVERY pros mind, a 3 is a birdie because it’s the score they expect to get.
