Shalom Aliza! There are two parts in this sequence. "Hashem" ensured outsiders would not have inheritance to the land because it would dilute the value of the Israelites. Secondly, Moshe (Pbuh) had to implement a plan which secured the preservation of DNA from marriage. This would have been saturated had they married outsiders. God gives us a mind, body, and soul. It is our responsibility to cultivate the 3 parts as one "whole" in order to absorb enrichment and nourishment within ourselves. Shabbat Shalom!
