Just go to mine out of the shop, new starter, battery, ecm and fuse box(SAM) 2600.00. It has over 230L miles and interior is fair and some dents on the body. I have an offer of $3500.00 after advertising for 4500.00. Is that a good offer and should I take it, transmission does act strange at times just don't want to wait fo it next 1200.00 repair to come along, any advice appreciated. Thank you

Hi, my 2005 Kompressor burn the fuse 53, do you know possible causes? How can I test if the starter is damage? Thanks

I don't know the cause of the burn fuse, this is some ideas when you have a bad starter. Something sounds off. One of the symptoms of a bad starter is a clicking noise when you turn the key or push the start button. ... You've got lights but no action. ... Your engine won't crank. ... Smoke is coming from your car. ... Oil has soaked the starter.

@@alejanzar You sure it's the 53? Not 52? There was a mercedes bulletin to change the 52 fuses from 15A to 20A because some of them kept popping

Hi, i have 2004 c230k mercedes and the 52 is Bad i replaced and still bad so i order stsrter and right now i just watching this video to tray it put on

If you take one of the motor mount the engine dropped and you have space to take and replace the starter. I went from the top of the engine until I removed a plastic part, connected with the engine, then from underneath of the car I had plenty space to take the starter out.

He’s lying…..You do not have enough space in there to get the starter out without moving or decoupling the steering linkage. Telescope the (manual Or electric) steering wheel adjustment out as much as possible. Bungee cord the steering wheel to one of the drivers-seat head-rest posts. Bungee-cord the A/C lines out of the way after removing the torx-bolts. DON’T BE FOOLED!!: It’s gonna be hard it’s gonna be frustrating and there ain’t no easy way to do it. No don’t unbolt the driver side motor mount and jack up the motor to make more room it doesn’t work either. Uncouple the TOP (only) single-bolt Union for the steering linkage. Hard to do but you gotta do it in order to get the starter motor out: unbolt both the signal wire (the single red wire going to the smaller terminal) and the Positive+ battery line on the solenoid on top Of the Starter BEFORE trying to pull out the starter. You’ll need a long leveraging prybar to get the starter out of the bell housing and to reinstall the new one (with some love-taps). 60+ ASE Mechanic here, Not Jose’ with a drinking problem.

Do you have any painter equipment suppliers in your area? If yes, go to one of them and buy one of those machines that shakes paint cans and then attach your camera to that machine. It may be less shaky than your video. I appreciate you making this vid, but come on...seriously?
