Irresistible eye candy products! Dragana, you should publish a book. Many books, in fact. You are a living catalogue of ideas for amazing useful cuties. And selling your own artwork laminated is great idea. Laminating just one side of fabric and napkin is the most astonishing for me (of all other awesome curiosities in your today’s video). For this reason alone I should forget about my firm (!) resolution not buy another toy for my craft room 😊. A must have, after this video - for sure. Other delightful surprises for preserving all sort of fragile stuff that I will certainly remember and try to make: doodles, eco prints, lantern with a picture of fire behind it, bookplates, roots, seeds, feathers (!), fabric and lace, threads and fibers (!), postage stamps, photos, money (!), two-sided images from magazines and catalogues, napkins… so different, so cool, thanks!

I’m so glad that you liked the video! Oh, I had a lot of fun creating all of this, and I just wanted to keep going. Luckily, I ran out of laminating pouches, otherwise I’d laminate everything in my sight 😀. It’s a useful tool. In regards to the book, I don’t think I have the patience for that at the moment but who knows what the future holds! Thank you so much for your kind comment. I appreciate it ❤️❤️❤️

What a happy coincidence. A few weeks ago there was a laminator on sale, including a foil pouch... I didn't have any specific ideas about what I wanted to do with it for my journals, but I bought it so I could take a closer look at it at some point. And today your post comes along as if I had called it. Wow. You can do great things with it. Thank you for being an inspiration to me.🙏 I'll get started right away.💁

Awesome ideas! 💜💜💜 My son bought me a laminator for Christmas two years ago, I haven't tried it yet... but do plan to, lol. 🥴 I was wondering the other day if I could put the heavy cereal bag liners through the laminator, but decided against it. Instead I put them in between parchment paper and used my iron, using some leaves, fabric and napkin, it worked, the plastic liner from crackers work at a lower iron temp, as they're much thinner plastic. It isn't as stiff as the laminator sheets, and a little wrinkly, matte finish, I like it. Am sensitive to smells but didn't notice any. So a thought if you don't have a laminator...🤔 I may post some pictures on your Facebook page if that's ok??

Oh my goodness! Such great ideas! Thank you. Just wanted to share with you -- there is a product called "self-adhesive laminating sheets". They are not quite as easy to work with like the laminator but they actually stick/glue to paper all the way and not just on the sides. You can use it on just one side of a paper too. I think I might try the glitter on one to see how it does!

I love all your videos. Your are so creative. I found this video just in time. I just bought myself a laminator for journaling, but you have taken it to a whole new level for me! I am amazed how many ways we can use the laminator! I do have one question, can you photocopy laminated items? Because the lamination process makes the results shiny, I am not sure if I can then make photocopies of some of the creations. Have you tried photocopying them? Keep the videos coming, you are teaching me so much. Hugs from Alberta, Canada.

Nice examples, but one or two could do with a proper tutorial as your explanations were rushed and I really didn’t have a clue what you meant. Example, how do you get the material to be just laminated on one side? And surely the material would just fall off if it wasn’t sealed on both sides? I love the map on vellum idea.
@Saacibo8 ай бұрын
Thank you! You make a good point. I’ll keep that in mind and I’ll try to do a tutorial on the topic. Laminating sheets are covered in glue on the inside and when heated up, this glue activates and glues to the surface inside, paper or fabric. The only time it didn’t work for me was when I used waxed paper or baking paper. Those had to stay trapped inside 2 laminating sheets 😊
@plan4life8 ай бұрын
@@Saacibo I used to make dividers for my ring binders and found when I hole punched them that the laminating sheets would often come unstuck because the seal was broken. Hence my confusion. I will have to have a go with fabric, see if that sticks better.
