I've been watching for a long time. I've learned alot from you all. I breed American bullies. I understand the blood was mixed far back. Now there is enough bully stock to only breed to other bullies without inbreeding while still breeding for the standard. My question is, have you had any dog breeders approach you to add your frenchies into a different breed to create hybrids? Thanks much #dixonfamilykennels

So for example I buy a frenchie and the sellers say that I need to sign a pet contract because I'm not allowed to breed the frenchie And i do breed the frenchie What happens? I'm not saying I'll do that Just wondering

In most cases, if your dog is registered, the breeder will not release rights so you will not be able to register any pups. After that it is up to the breeder to first find out you are breeding and then they can sue you for damages if you break the contract and it will void out any terms of the contract for health guarantees and such. Really depends on what the contract says specifically.

from a contract lol If in the opinion of the Breeders, the animal is at risk due to the negligent actions or inactions of the Buyer, the Buyer(s) irrevocably grants their permission to allow the Breeder’s reasonable right to enter the Buyer's property to repossess the puppy with either a full, partial or no refund of the purchase price. Such payment will be made at the Breeders discretion only

James have you ever dealt with fading puppy syndrome because my English bulldog had a litter of 8 there was 2 water babies and 4 partial water babies and 2 healthy ones the 2 water babies died at birth and 2 partial water babies died within a few hours after birth and last 4 dogs were doing good they were eating and doing well but in the morning one of the healthy ones died and the last 3 didn’t want to nurse anymore I had to help them go onto the moms nipple but 1 by 1 they each died but before they died there bodies went very stiff it’s like they froze but there weren’t cold do you have any idea what could have happened I forgot to mention that some of them were born with a Cleft palate I’m not sure what could have happened to the pups but my guess is that they had fading puppy syndrome.

Fading Puppy Syndrome is not an actual disease/sickness. Its actually just a term used when a puppy dies within the first few days of life. You'll need to find out what actually caused the fading puppy syndrome. Was it an infection? hypothermia? genetic defect? 2 Water puppies + 4 partial water puppies + cleft palate would lead me to guess there was some sort of genetic issue with either the dam/sire.

@@better.bulldogs.co.family really I was reading about it and it said that half of puppy deaths are caused by fading puppy syndrome so I just assumed it was a disease

This sounds like bacterial pneumonia possible. Vet care immediately needed when you notice that they aren't nursing.

With all due respect, I read your contract and it protects no one but you. There is no protection for the buyer. In the worst case scenerio, should you two need to go to court, your contract makes the buyer come to Oklahoma...which is your playing ground. So your contract doesn;t give much protection for the buyer. If I am wrong, please correct me. I looked on your website because it was my plan to become a future customer, but the website hasn't been updated since 2017. Great information and beautiful puppies, but if a dog has pyometra and can't be bred (and breeding rights were paid for), one licensed veterinarian should be sufficient. Your contract wants two separate confirmations before making a decision. Meanwhile, the dog is suffering. I'm hoping that I read that wrong.
@LoveMyPups2 жыл бұрын
The contract is written by the seller So not surprising it more in their favor. But contracts can be negotiated Just about any contract you get into will make the location of the sale the place if any court hearings Pyometra would not be covered the dog would be over a year old And typically not a hereditary issue anyway Vets get things wrong. Most contracts would want a second opinion .

@@LoveMyPups thank you for taking the time to explain this to me. I appreciate it. I’m doing my research before purchasing, and obviously ignorant to how it all works since I’ve only had pet only pets. This is something to think about for sure.
