if you start with 56 stitches and row 4 says knit or pearl 3 toghter you loose 2 stitches each time so how can i end up with 56 stitches

is the whole thing made on straight needles? and will I need to pick up stitches?..I just need to know the skill level so I know whether I cam make this. thanks

There's only one part that used DPNs but you can complete that part on straight needles and sew it on. Just to clarify what part I'm talking about, it's the sleeves and it"s optional. To complete it on straight needles cast on 40 sts with 3.5 mm needles and you can either rib for 4 rows or complete the trinity st once. cast off all sts and sew on to the armholes. For the button loop you can cast on 10 sts on 3.5mm needles and the knit 1 row and cast off. I hope this makes it easy for you. If you do decide to make it and you need help just leave me a comment.

nisha rani Hi, I have a video coming out soon of a 0-6 months sweater with long sleaves its pretty much the same as if you were to add sleeves on this dress. I'll upload that then come back to explain it for this pattern since you're a beginner it'll be easier for you to understand :)
