In this first episode, we visit Bergsgården in the village of Fryele outside Värnamo to show you a fantastic band sawmill owned by Emil. Emil is a forest enthusiast and owns a Tak-Met TTP600 Standard, the same type of sawmill we have ordered for Sundhult. The difference is that Emil has hydraulic power for his band sawmill.
Emil fells his own forest on 50 hectares and saws timber on demand. He has built his own sawmill with the timber he has sawn himself. It is truly impressive to see how he uses his saw to create high-quality wood products, such as wilderness paneling.
But it's not just his sawmill that is impressive. Emil has also used wilderness paneling to build a greenhouse where he grows vegetables and a fantastic cabin in the middle of the forest which he rents out through Airbnb. It's truly a unique and beautiful place that you don't want to miss.
