Perfectly accurate. I wish I would have seen this video when I retired 10 years ago

I just found you at the crucial time of "should I retire". Your coaching couldn't be more needed. Thank you for all you do. You are helping a burnout, lifetime, mega multitasker slow her brain and get 'clarity' to make retirement the healthy, joyous, next step in my life.😅

For me after the first year of bliss/travel was a bout of anxiety which was not pleasant. Even though we were good financially I took a 2 day a week low/no stress job that filled in my week and got rid of boredom and anxiety and also gave us a few extra fun bucks . For some folks easing into full retirement works .

It's natural to feel anxious after the initial retirement 'honeymoons stage' wears off. I'm happy you found something that works for you 😄

I know this is about post retirement. I JUST HATE that I retired, I didn't even have to.! I followed.... I can't believe i fell for it. My life was different than there's... i should have returned when I had that window. 😢 depression is horrible.

I'm really sorry to hear you're feeling this way. Retirement can be a challenging transition, especially when it's not what you expected. It's important to remember that it's never too late to find new purpose and joy in this phase of life. Please know that you're not alone in this-many people feel similarly, and there is support available. If you're open to it, talking to a professional might help navigate these feelings. We're here for you, and we hope you find some peace and happiness soon. 💛

@CynMeyerSecondWindMovement I always love and appreciate your replys.! I have reached out to a therapist, but didn't get any navigation. Just the same,... " it doesn't matter if I caused it, or it was a mistake, ... Just have to move on. They did validate the grief. I feel they don't understand how devastated I am. To me.. it was Way more than just a job. It inspired me to do so many other activities, and was my main source of friendships and social interactions. Also, gave me the purpose I needed. And it was fun. .... psychologically,.. something snapped in my brain. I stressed way too much, got insomnia.... haven't slept more than 1-2 hrs a night for 9 months. I still have panic attacks,.. and the anxiety and depression, has made me isolate. I have no interests, and struggling to just get up to take a shower. I wish I could somehow get better. My health has declined and now... my eyesight has gone bad. I didn't want to retire, And... I didn't have to. .... that's why it devastated me. I do hope I can survive... Thank you.!!!! 💫💗🫶💫
