SHHH EMPEZÓ MI NOVELA! Hey, Winter. I was raised in a Christian household, and I'm from Perú. The first time I found out about THESE SERIES. Like, sincerely, I hooked up. I really understand the terms and realities, or even the message we try to pinpoint. Well, I can also tell you that these sketches made me laugh at some religious nonsense (sometimes, not knowing), I was also practicing and made me had big cringey laughs many times. To conclude, I'd like to say: thank you for mirroring some aspects of the christian lifestyle and made me reflect about my relationship with God and how I perceive things now. Not demonizing, not being extremely naive, nor extremely religious. Just feeling free. Thank you for your series and satire. ❤

And yes, I'd really like to say that it is something serious to say that "you want a perfect husband", that you pray for him and suddenly believe "that it is God telling you that HE is the one. Or XYZ person said so. And then, you obsess and even endure mistreatment, you endure unhealthy relationships, you accept taboos and you are just not encouraged to speak up because it feels that the church members most of the times make blind eyes of these situations. And yes, I totally understand all of this situation and had done Ruth's actions myself when I was obsessed over a boy and wanted to claim him based on scripture and forced things. Wow. I thought this only happened in my culture. As I mentioned, I am Peruvian. But it also happens there in the States, right? Or we'll, perhaps 🤪 I am wrong with the location. But the point is that there are many girls who are taught that this is okay. And you are the first lady to talk about this.
