Thanks so much for bringing us along, so much to see! I kind of have mixed feelings with the customized dolls, since I know only stock dolls were allowed at the show. While many of them are beautiful, some of them make me sad to see that a stock doll was destroyed to make these other dolls.

@@TammyPowley you’re so welcome! Wish you could have been there so we could have met! And I too have mixed feelings about customizing the stock dolls. But I couldn’t resist getting Chandra. She’s on the Minty Magic base, sooo that said, now I kinda want to get a stock Minty Magic to have for comparison! Chandra does still have her original special mint colored eye chips, but her others were swapped out.

@@AnnyeongBJD Blythecon Vegas organizer here... and I think I might have talked to Tammy about this before too... I know the stock doll thing is a contentious subject, and ultimately it's up to the organizers of the specific event, but the main reason for LV in particular not having fakes, is that 1. legally on documents it was under my LLC and 2. We couldn't ethically condone the sale of counterfeit products at a publicized and ticketed event. Personally, I own both customized fakes and customized stock dolls in my collection. I think in the end, it just comes down to ethics and if CWC, Junie-Moon, and Good Smile Company would create blank bases like Pullip has, that would deter the use of fakes, but to my knowledge, this has never been addressed by Junko Wong or the others in the product development realm.

Awww thank you so much! I think the artist said her hair is angora! I love her hair too! It’s so soft! I’m sorry you arrived late to the show! But I’m glad I was able to capture as much as I did so you could see it! I think I got some video clips at every single booth! I didn’t want to miss a thing. Even then, some items had already been purchased before I could see them. Two of Splattergirl’s dolls were gone almost immediately!

I’m so glad you enjoyed it! 💞💖 I didn’t want to miss anyone or anything, so I think I literally showed every booth there! 😅 Hopefully I’ll feel well enough to record Part 2 within the next couple of days! Unfortunately I ended up testing positive with COVID on Wednesday, so today was the first day I’ve gotten out of bed since! But I’m on the mend now and can’t wait to share my goody bag and haul in the next video! I noticed another person on IG today mentioning that they also got COVID after attending. I hope there weren’t too many people that got sick! It’s so sad, because the show was amazing and I had such a wonderful time! 🥹🤧

@@AnnyeongBJD Oh No! That's awful, I have had it twice now, second wasn't as bad as the first years ago but so sad you got that. I am sure more people probably got it there too. I don't think I will ever get the opportunity to go to one as I am near D.C. so thanks again for all the work and hope you feel better very soon!! and I will watch for Part 2!

And yes… I found out that several vendors and attendees have tested positive since last weekend. 😣 I guess we created a dolly outbreak! 😷 This is the 2nd time I’ve had it too.
