I LISTEN TO HOW SHE GO ON AND ON IN GREAT DETAILS AT HER AGE...BUT MANY SAY WHEN YOU GET OLDER YOU FORGET THIS AND THAT, YOU CAN'T DO THINGS YOU USE TO... SUCH AND SUCH MIND GOES AND COMES...... I DON'T BUY IT FOR ONE DAMN SECOND... WITH AN UNDERSTANDING THAT THERE ARE THOSE WHO DO SUFFER WITH MEMORIES AND THOUGHTS,AGE AIN'T GOT A DAMN THING TO DO WITH IT.

Why didn't she ask about Emitt father???
@laurenetta772 жыл бұрын
His father was also lynched. He was a soldier who went to war. He executed after also being falsely accused of sexually assaulting a white woman and murdering one. It has been discovered that these were lies that were racially motivated to try to use as propaganda to justify the death of Emmitt. They were trying to prove both assaulted white women and deserved to die. Just a bunch of racist lies.

From what I read about him. He didn’t seem like a good person. Poor Mamie seemed to get a shitty deal regarding family members. Could you imagine having your husband murdered and then your son?? I’m glad she was able to find love. May her sweet soul RIP
