I make them and hide them in books at the library for people to find. I also write an inspirational quote on the back. Yours are lovely and I loved your clear explanation of what you were doing and why. Very helpful.

Thank you for the comment and for watching my video. I hope you learned something that will help on your art journey!!! 🥰 NOTE: I think it’s a myth that you have to have “natural talent”. Most artists feel the same way you do. I think that art just takes the desire and learning. Then it comes naturally after a lot of practice. And it sounds like you are definitely on that path! 👍 Just have fun...enjoy the journey!!!

You make nice bookmarks and videos. Thanks. Do you or anyone else that might read this use the black pen first and then watercolor the bookmark and if you have tried that is the ink really waterproof? I have noticed that my Sakura Micron pens are not really waterproof even though they say they are.

Ma'am what do you do to flatten out the painting ?
@MelindaHowardArt Жыл бұрын
Hello, there are several ways to flatten them. I have a video where I show a quick way to flatten them by using a cool iron and covering them with a towel. You can also pre-stretch them by wetting the back and taping them down. Or use a hair dryer to dry them after using a really wet wash. Hope this helps. :-)
