I've made several journals, but only a few LGB ones. Initially, i followed instructions where the golden spine was cut off, meaning pages had to be cut off. I didn't like that. So, I finally found someone with a solution that reinforced the bend, but I have to say, I like your method much better! Great job and thanks for sharing!

That’s so sweet of you, thank you so much! I definitely would like to try other methods with these LGB junk journals too.. but I’m glad you like this way! ☺️💗

You did a great job of taking the book apart. And that's fine is as sturdy as any spine that I've ever made so I don't think you'll have a problem unless you're glue is not good enough. I would definitely use my strongest glue for the spine. That looks like a really cute little book I have not seen it before either. Thank you for this video. Blessings and hugs from New Mexico

Thank you so much Judie! So far I haven’t had any issue with doing a spine this way.. Definitely would use the strongest glue like you said! Hugs to you all the way in New Mexico! 🤗💗

Thank you for doing this process start to finish. I’ve been buying up LGB. I’m not sure ,past saving the gold ,I haven’t gone any further. I have a test/sample book it’s not in the best of shape so it would be perfect to try your way.
