Felista seems super happy...I love her smile. She's been smiling ear-to-ear since arriving back to Tanzania---she's practically glowing with happiness. Her sisters are all so pretty and her family all seem genuinely warm and kind people. Hopefully she will have many more chances to visit Tanzania often and we can see more scenery of her hometown and country in future videos. I want to see DouDou and Fei-Er growing up and knowing both their Chinese and African heritage...so let's support Felista and her channels!!

I was born and raised in East Africa like Felista and for almost five decades I have been living in the U.S. When I first watched her speaking, cooking and raising her family in China, I admired her family in Tanzania who prepared her to adjust and thrive. Great.. Felista and her Chinese friends are especially charismatic and friendly. It happens but often people are closed rsther then open. They are very inspiring though...yes gives hope that some hearts are simple and kind no matter the race. Rare though?

I live in Africa. It is a hard life, more so in the rural areas. Corrupt politicians, no infrastructure, no healthcare, dismal schoolung, high GBV. Few things more cruel than African "liberation heroes" to their own people.
