Have you tried the starship KOS interface mod by Janus1992? Full launch and recovery of starship and booster. Best mod I've seen

What vertion of ksp should i get ksp 1 or 2

Ksp1 is simply better, if you want to make it look better tike ksp2 you can use mods and packages. The only problem is it changes the hit boxes to cause more drag.
