A shout out to those considering becoming first time muskie fishermen/women. I have caught 1,000's of pike. The muskie might look the same, but its fight is much tougher. ALso, I can easily hold a 35 inch or so pike; a 20 in muskie is a handful. But most importantly, muskies have a tendency to follow lures to the boat, and even hang out to watch you. Almost like they are saying, " I see you. To catch me I have to cooperate". Tight lines
