Asalamu alaikum wa ramatullahi wa barakatuh, I am learning the Arabic language and find the arabic sign language helping me so much to do so. In'sha'Allah I will be able to learn both. I know you didn't post for long but In'sha'Allah you will do it again as it is such a good Dawah. Mashallah. May Allah rewards you.

@em1990med you are welcome .. im glad you found it helpful .. for arabic sign language there are so many dialects within each arabic country and even within the same city. standardized arabic sign language does exist, and it is used in arabic countries however it is not used as widely as expected. i will try my best to post a video with signs that can be used within a conversation so stay tuned :D

thank you so much.. this is very helpful... can you maybe post something about how to make a simple conversation?! like introduction, and stuff like that? and another question.. is this sign language for all arabic dialects or is it for just one particular dialect?!

So, this says Standard Arabic Sign Language. Are these some of the universal signs know throughout the Deaf Arab world? Are this the sign language of a specific country's Deaf community? Or do all the countries use the same sign language? Everywhere I read says something different.

I want to learn sign language. so we can communicate with some friends in Egyptian and Dubai.
@Russell5892 i will answer you to the best of my knowledge; from what i learned every arab country has a different sign language but they still have a few signs in common so in an effort to unite the language and so that all deaf arabs can understand each other they came up with a set of signs to be used as a standard language . i hope this answers your questions :)

الأفضل تتعلمين اللغة اللي بتستخدمينها لأنه لا يمكن اتقان أي لغة إلا بالممارسة
