Happy new year to you and your family. If you don’t mind me asking what rear ended do you have ? 12.7 or 14 liter? Tire size? The weight of the load? Speed limit you try to run? Happy New Year! 279 rears 12.7 22.5 rims I keep most loads under 30k. Mostly 65 to 68 mph I also have a double overdrive transmission. Straight pipes help Aftermarket fleet-air air filters.

@@NomadTrucker i see , how do you see 2024 bud , will it get any better. I have a classic just like yours. Wanting to start in feb or march with JB. Landstar cant take me just yet. Need to run a full year on the road. i have 2 years of cdl and almost 2 year of running local with a mega carrier but they wont take me.

What kind of dash camera do you use? Likes,dislikes? What would you buy?

I'm using the garmin dash cam 65w. I'm sure there are newer models out now, but it's working great and has been for years. It's small enough that it doesn't bother me in my field of view. Has voice-activated commands, red light camera alerts, and g sensor recording. Just about all the major truck stops carry it, but I'm also sure it's cheaper elsewhere.

As soon as a person gets a CDL to drive a truck, you lose some of your Rights as a United States citizen. Then, when you start driving that truck, you are discriminated against, treated as a 2nd class citizen, forced to work many hours a week for free, and pretty much lose a lot more of your freedoms. You have very little say in how you control your time a lot of the time. You as a driver run on other people's schedules or time, not yours. And there is very little you can do about it and it is only getting worse.

You are absolutely correct. We instantly become scum and are treated as such, even though a lot of us make 2 to 3 times the money most people do.

sucks when you realize people like that work for the same company as you. it makes you question if you even wanna be with that company. just try and brush it off, there is always that same A-hole at every company, just with a different name.
