Join me in the first part of this series exploring Islam's fundamentally pagan origins based on gods that were worshipped from Babylon all the way across Arabia (with a strong emphasis on Yemen and Ethiopia) and how these same gods ended up amalgamating into the supposedly 'monotheistic' Allah as we are meant to understand him according to Muslims and the Quran today.
This is a very important and highly curious topic because one the fundamental notions and backbones of Islam is that of Tawhid توحيد - or the 'oneness' of God within Islam.
I am honoured to be privy to the information researched and beautifully put together by @LloydDeJongh in this immensely illustrating and thought-provoking presentation. Lloyd is doing absolutely fantastic work into areas of Islam that have not been challenged and explored on this level before and as the information reveals itself, the cracks in Islam, as well as the man-made concoction that this is cult is, becomes VERY very apparent.

I've followed Lloyd for over a year and he's an incredible teacher. His Knowledge and depth of knowledge on Islam is incredible. He was the first person to explain that Islam is not a Religion, it doesn't even consider itself as a Religion. It calls itself a *"DEEN"* an Ideology and it's religious or worship side is a tiny proportion of the whole Ideology, it's Political and Jurisprudence side is far more important, complex and larger than its worship side!

Thanks Nuriyah for your reply and yes, Lloyd should be at the top of the pile when it comes to the origins, historical evidence and early years and very Immoral and Unethical aspects of Islam. What really makes him good is that he doesn't just make claims..... he backs up those claims with evidence and Islamic Evidence from original Islamic sources. It's very hard to refute the evidence when the evidence is from your own sources...... but "Allah knows BEST!" (Ask him about "Allah knows best" next time you chat to him, his explanation is hilarious!)

Coins from the Kingdom of Elymais (under Parthian control) also have a crescent/star, they date from the 1st to early 3rd century AD, as do of course Parthian and later Sasanian coins, all before Islam. You'll also find the crescent/star on coins of Mauretanian Kingdom (eg: Juba II and Cleopatra Selene, 25 BC - 24 AD), many Roman Empire coins (eg: Hadrian, Septimius Severus, Elagabalus, Geta, Caracalla), some Roman Republic coins (eg: L. Titurius Sabinus, 89 BC) and Greek coins (eg: Amisos Pontos, 100 BC).

I see there are 5 series so that's awesome 👍. Gibson, Jay Smith and others have some good materials from the north but there's blank slade in the south. From these materials I can see the stories coming together. Why Muslim academics or historians did not reveal this side of their history says a lot about their religion. Once more and more people know about these fascinating facts Islam will need to deal with it. I believe Imams, Shiekhs, and Ustads know somethings about these facts but too scared to reveal it because of self- sanctioned as shown from Lloyd's work and from what's happening around the world when someone insults Mohammed. One question. If Mohammed is only a title, and the Qura'n was not written by Mohammed, then who is the real Mohammed and who sanctioned death penalty for mockery of this prophet, and why the tenecity? It's a form of human bondage (slavery) to this person (Mohammed) embodied under a pagan god (Al Lah). Some say, Islam is nothing but a pseudo Christian sect that evolved and adopted a pagan god (Al Lah) and practices (Hajj, Kaabah, black stone, etc.) to create an Arab identify. If so, I feel for our Muslim freinds, brothers and sisters who have been lied to and suppressed for centuries. Not only that, but now they carry the burden to explain this madness to the world 🌎 so we can all live in peace.

Petra or Nebatea Arabic was the language used in the Quran because this was where the earliest part of islam started as a Christian sect where Jews (race) and Arabs practiced Christianity. This is the Ummayyad caliphate. It is the Abbassid caliphate where most of the islam we know today came about. It is the Abbassid that follows Lloyd's hypothesis. So, in short, you have a combination of North and South influences with the Southern influence having a stronger impact. And it is this Southern influence where the pagan aspects of Islam comes to the fore and not just pagan but their distinct, clear disdain for Christianity which is clear in the Quran and sunnah. Lloyd should also note similarities between Judaism and Islam in terms of some prayer rituals.
@HolyHumanist

To my knowledge, the evidence shows that early Quranic Arabic is Yemeni. The oldest Quran is from Yemen. Arabic developed out of the Yemeni language and Ethiopic, before absorbing northern languages. Ethiopic contains all of the sounds in Arabic, and their script became the basis for early Arabic.

makes me wonder why so many different cultures seemed to hold the moon as the major deity. It does help us have a calendar and date system, so there's that, but surely the sun is still the more major celestial object. Maybe its because these regions (middle east) is on the equator, therefore it doesn't really have seasons that are very different. Therefore, the sun seems constant and cant be much used to tell the time of year, but the moon is the only anchor to time-keeping. Constrast this to Europe where the summer and winter is the major change, and seasonal changes dominate time keeping, leading to a sun-worshipping tendency of europe

For the ancient people the Sun was not necessarily the more "major" object in some respects as they did not know their sizes or distances. In Egypt the Sun was very important. The Sun can be used for time keeping anywhere, however, the ancient people did not have a good means of observing its position because you cannot see the stars when the Sun is out, but you can see the Moon's position and its phases, which gives you two measuring units, verses zero. It was a simple way to keep track of time, from phase to phase. The Moon has a lot of significance to agriculture. You're right about the seasons though, they become more important as you move north. This actually ties in nicely with the Quran, which tells you when to fast (when you see light of the Sun in the morning...) which you cannot use in northern regions where it never gets dark in the summers! Clearly Allah was not be best as astronomy and geography :)

Yes. The 7 heavens was a very common cosmological view in MANY ancient cultures of the time because of the seven objects that moved in the sky (Sun, Moon and five visible planets) - they were each thought to have a celestial sphere or "heaven". Some models had stars in the lowest heaven, which the Quran has. The Quran simply adopts these ancient (and incorrect) ideas, but no Muslim can admit this so they re-interpret the verse. Al-Qurtubi writes about at-Tariq in Surah 86: “It was said: It is Saturn: the planet in the seventh heaven mentioned by Muhammad ibn al-Hasan in his interpretation". Some ancient people worshiped the motion of these objects and went around their shrines seven times in the counterclockwise direction (same direction as the objects move in the sky wrt stars). This was common in Yemen for example, and Muhammad likely adopted this pagan practice which is why Muslims go around the Kaaba seven times in counterclockwise direction (and the Kaaba has a Yemeni corner). If you read great Islamic scholars like al-Tabari, in his Vol 1 (pg 238) you'll find "Whenever the sun sets, it is raised from heaven to heaven by the angels' fast flight, until it is brought to the highest, seventh heaven, and eventually is underneath the Throne. It falls down in prostration, and the angels entrusted with it prostrate themselves together with it. Then it is brought down from heaven to heaven. When it reaches this heaven, dawn breaks." All the myths and incorrect ideas about the seven heavens are related in the ancient world, but today, since the Quran mentions this, Muslims go out of their way to explain what these heavens might be, using ideas such as parallel universes (which they do not understand!), or of course that Allah knows best - which just means that Muhammad didn't know what he was talking about.

This is very interesting and so well done, thank you! Now, I don't think that being based on previous "pagan" religions is a bad thing per se. I would like to know if you went into the horror practice of genital mutilation that still exists in some muslim countries but it's not exclusive to muslim people there. It's more of an old tradition and many muslims stress on the point that it's not present in the Quran, still it is done to various degrees from complete job to a symbolic puncture in hospitals to eradicate the excess of lust in female bodies. Where this horror come from? Why muslims kept this practice if it's not mandatory in any muslim text?

The greatest evidence islam is pagan religion, they practice ritual called "Tawaf" it is to walk around and to encircle the "kabaah" a pagan practice used by pre Islamic arabs they also kiss the black stone. The second pagan practice is called "Safa and Marwa" it is basically Muslims travel back and forth between them seven times starting from Safa to Marwa" in what is known as saʿī ritual pilgrimages of Ḥajj and Umrah. This was also used to be practiced by arab pagans before islam. Muslims also will throw stones at a long shaped pillars the ritual called "Jamarat." During the ritual, Muslim pilgrims in Mecca throw pebbles at three walls (formerly pillars), called "jamarāt," in the city of Mina just east of Mecca. This also a pagan practice used by pre Islamic arabs. Even some of the pre Islamic arabs used to worship "allah" himself since Mohammed (prophet of islam) his father name was "Abdullah" means slave of allah. Allah is moon god called "god Lah" how to know if Muslims actually worship god Lah? Biggest evidence is Muslims say to anything positive or especially after they done eating they say, "Alhamdililah" Alhamdulil *(lah)* "Lah" Google *"godlah."* god lah is a moon god a lunar deity in ancient Egyptian religion. The word jꜥḥ simply means "Moon"

Lunarism has multiple symbology and semiotics in Esoterics such as divine reception from God, lunar calender, the divine womb, Ramadhan Significance, Mother Nature Womb, Mother's Womb and divinity, the feminine, lunar magic,....the star represents the human individual, the masculine, sun, man, the manifestation, Muslim Invidual ☪️ because SLM = 5 in Arabic Esoteric Numerology. It is an Islamic Esoteric Symbol, like black/white is an islamic exoteric symbol but also adopted by other esoteric societies like freemasonry. The hand of fatima = the chapter of Falaq = 5 verses. The pentacle that protects from Evil Eye and Envy under the will of God....Esoterics are deeply mysterious and unrecognizable easily by people.

Lloyd, Thomas Alexander and odon Lafontaine should compare notes to allow us to get a better view of early islam. And by early Islam, I mean the Islam introduced by the Abbassid Caliphate. There is also a link with Central Asia, at this stage. To bridge everything, my thoughts are islam started off as a socio-political system against the big powers which were essentially the rich noble families. So, Islam started with the premise to rid off the Byzantine and Persian empires that catered to nobility. This socio-economic system managed to gather support from Ethiopia, Yemen, Levant, modern-day Iraq, Iran and Central Asia. With such a large area, they managed to form a formidable army and managed to conquer large areas of land. And to hold their land in place, a religion was required and this gave birth to islam and this is how the quran was compiled from mostly existing texts and haddith was added at the whim and fancy of the caliph and done so to entrench their power status. It didn't take long before a group of Persians decided they wanted to break away from this Arab-centric change and this gave birth to Shia Islam which is more of a racial or language split than religious but one each side had their own haddith, the difference became religious.

Anyone that spends so much time with Harris Sultan who denies Pakistan's blasphemy laws have nothing to do with Islam but is to be blamed on Britain and who denies the hundreds of thousands of rapes by Pakistan Army and Bangladeshi supporters on Hindu women in bangladesh in the war of 1971 is to be ashamed. Quran is not saying its a new religion or that it's ritual are new. Prayers, fasting, pilgrimages...etc always have exited. Quran tells stories of Moses and other prophets doing prayer (salaat, namaz). It says prophet or guide been sent all over the world therefore islam takes jnto account that there should be similarities with othet cultures as all cultures would have had a guide however islam states they would have been corrupted slowly by deifying prophets..saints.. cult following. Islam sees sabaens as people of the book like Christianity , judaism etc.. In fact we muslims when we see Hinduism and Daoism etc we also try to find similarity they have with monotheism because they would've had some kind of guidance from God. In fact muslim believes we are all born in a Muslim (I.e in submission to our Source) therefore it is likely there should be similarity with other cultures..e.g prayers..fasting..place of worship.. Actually, I would have been more worried if ritual we practiced had no precedence in the history considering islam meant to be religion since Adam's , Abrahams time etc..

And the use of Christianity is another Interpol. For example, we know Christianity came directly out of Kimmitt and the two patron deities heru and asur. They had the cross, which was the sign of damuzi and the Unk, which was the sign of Isis. Again, two pagan groups competing for dominance this Christianity. This was the Christianity that evolved from Isis worship to Serapis worship that was taken over the area.
