Awesome because this engine is kicking ass in part 2. Don’t forget I am using bigger heavier MT wheels and I have a leaded weight all the way up front on the bumper ! The only problem that slowed me down was the issue I was having with my steering and low battery. I also had a very bad accident because of that and it was unfortunate that parts got torn up on my Max T because of that but I kept at it and ran it a little longer. I had lots of fun and a short break from real life with everything that’s going on over here and that’s what counts the most. There are a few but hurt people that I have helped out with many things and they would not be in this hobby or known and doing what there if it wasn’t for me Facts! but it’s all good man I must live and learn from this . Unfortunately I will think twice now about helping out Newbies with certain things . I have used lots of my energy on helping many !!! But NOT Many has helped me so my energy will be used in smarter ways now . Hope you and your family stay safe and healthy God Bless 🙏

Yes it will fit dbxl but not sure if the new pipe will? Soon I will be trying a 45 engine on. My MTXL to see if the pipe fits so if it does ? There may be a chance that the new Pipe Bartolone made for the 5T platform will work. I’m not sure what price yet because they are working on it. We will soon know . This engine is doing very well and in part 2 you will see that. Unfortunately my steering got really bad and on top of that my receiver battery was weak but the engine and pipe combo is starting to perform real good. 2020 is a Brappp💥tastic year for all of us Brappp heads because we have many options out there and that’s a great thing that I wish will continue on into the future!

Yes it's a air restriction issue chokes are designed for easier starting but the easier starting comes at cost of performance!!!

Joe this carburetor that I replaced uses a choke on it . The carb I removed did not have the choke. I like both carbs but most people prefer the one I removed . They are also very user friendly. At the end of the day it’s all about what you prefer to use for the set up you like or have.

Good video you don't need to add weight all you need is a good adjustable wheelie bar thats what all of the big bore guys do when they want to lesson the wheelies, you have bebop, bonehead and a lot of cutom ones that work good

I Also have two 1191 carbs that work great 👍 no problems but I never got to amp up the spring in one yet or even try out the spiral diaphragm in one like I did in this past video kzbin.info/www/bejne/jJixd5WwbL6srpI but I will be doing that once this BROVAN ReedCase engine comes into production because that’s what will be coming on it. I did have one 1191 in the past give me problems so I threw it out and installed a 990 and never looked back . The 1107 is working well right now on this ReedCase engine and you will see this in part 2 video. If my steering did not act up I would have done more with it but it is what it is !

Metal Works Workshop if I was you I’d replace that carb with a 990! I have a rovan 29cc in my Baja Shorty Q and I love how the 990 feels on it ! I also use a RB intake and a velocity stack and it runs real good 👍💥shes a real ripper but if you like and prefer your 997 and if it don’t leak ? Stay with it and throw on the BR stack with a good airfilter

I don’t think a ported esp is enough for the rooster tail 990? Maybe a Full MoD would work better? Try it out and see. It will definitely run but it may act up on you just like mine did on my drag mod Gizmo30.5. Your probably better off with a 1107 if you like them or just a 990 from Ddm if you prefer them since there so easy to tune and run.

Cool I usally use the 990 never had good luck with tuning on 1107 but sure others would love to see the choke mod for 1107 I also was turned on to the springs from ddm to modify the metering rate to 17 psi! You know the 1048 gizmo racing sells might not be a bad one for the 45 I used it on my rcmax 46 instead of buying roostertail worked well!!! Keep inspiring the hobby so many people have been making channels since you inspired them including my self to share with others and thank god for all the great engine builder guys in gas and nitro I had started doing 1/5 scale about 4 years ago and I almost quit the hobby do to lack of experience after about the first 4 months or so and then I stumbled around your channel and you inspired me to keep going and even got me doing nitro I probly finacially my wallet would have been happier if I quit lol but thanks for all your help and dont let any one piss ya off to many guys forget the work you put in to get to where you are it didnt happen over night!!

That engine would be an absolute weapon in a buggy like a FG marder. Also I know how hard it is to stop the cursing I also have to edit a lot to remove it. Especially when I run my cars I have the tendency to say stupid shit because all my focus is on not destroying my car with my "unique" driving style aka full throttle or full brake

This Rovan Max t I’m using with all these aluminum goodies on it is only 999.99 and if you use RVPCD5 you will get 5% on top of that ! There are also buggies available that are way cheaper. I still love Nitro and nitro done right is sometimes even more expensive then this so it all depends on what level you want to be at
