I've been rebuilding my shack every few years since the mid-70's and each time I marvel at how it ended up so messy when I do this professionally and I would fire anyone who did what I do in my shack. What I do for all my wires is I have piping similar to you, each wire and cable has a number, I then have a laminated sheets that has the numbers on the sheet and what each cable is for that number, iif there is ever an issue i can then look up the number I need. when you have a shack with loads of cables and wires this is a good thing to do, it takes ages to do it properly but in the long term it can save you stacks of frustration and time. The reason I laminate the sheets is simple so they last longer and stay new at all times and then they go into my folder. Hope this helps
