I think in general seventeen respect the leader line a lot which is S.Coups, Hoshi, and Woozi. Honestly even though they tease each other mercilessly and it might not seem like it but they do it while accommodating to each member’s personality like Dino, Seungkwan, Mingyu, and DK are teased the most while Woozi, Jun, The8, and Wonwoo aren’t teased as much compared to the others, even though they still are. The average training period for seventeen was around 4 years so they’ve known each other for 10+ years including their trainee days so they know each other inside and out and they tease each other with that level of comfortability.

Yeeeessss If woozi got roasted a lot it's just same as the team forgot who made the seventeen glow up, because pledis obviously low budget when their debut as you see from outfits and hairstyle, but they lucky to got woozi making the songs even though he studied film major. And hoshi as the choreographer

Actually if u watch back from where they started, woozi, hoshi and s.coups were like the top dogs and everyone looked up to them for always being able to take the lead and make sure things go along. Woozi does the recordings and songs, hoshi choreographs and s.coups make sures that everything runs smoothly. In their predebut reality show, it really shows an insight of how their conditions were and if u see how the 3 of them conducted the environment and all, it would be very understandable on why the members respect them alot. But actually if u really pay attention, the members joke arnd with woozi subtly than out in the front like with hoshi and seungkwan.

"people love seventeen variety content more than their music" it's not true at all ??? i don't know why you would think that, seventeen is one of the biggest kpop groups for a reason and gets praised not only for their variety content (going seventeen also has a fanbase but carats are here for everything, ESPECIALLY music). their dancing is what people talk about the most, their performance skills in general, their powerful vocals too (especially two main vocalists). maybe you see people mention their variety content more because that's what you mostly react to when it comes to them for some reason, but don't underestimate fans' love and appreciation for their talent and skills

Thats so right....I became a carat for like past 6 months ago..and What attract me the most towards Seventeen is their HIGH QUALITY MUSIC AND TALENTS...Their STAGE PRESENCE ( with dancing and with live singing both) IS THE BEST I HAVE EVER SEEN IN KPOP... TRULY...I Felt their Music, their OWN PRODUCED songs , their LYRICS..Deep into my soul..Their live performance always gives me Chills and Hit hard in the Emotions..They are so Special...Yes it's true They are the variety kings and I like their Variety Content (SPECIALLY GOING SEVENTEEN WHICH IS THE BEST SHOW FOR ME) But THEIR MUSIC COMES FIRST FOR ME...I am Totally Obsessed with their Hardwork and Sincerity towards their MASTERPIECES...Their Every single Album is so unique and AMEZING... Sliping to the diamond life was the best Bestest decision I have ever made ..STAN SEVENTEEN STAN TALENT💎💎💗💖💞

@@arunavaid6648 i know a lot of groups but i mostly follow seventeen. because of how good they are and how they share everything with us, i love that we have behind the scenes of their dance practices, recording sessions, photoshoots etc., it makes me feel so involved!! and the fact that they do so much work themselves and are able to share the process with us is so wonderful. i'm here for the music, the process of making it, i'm here for the choreo too, and that's probably how every carat feels. going seventeen used to be just behind the scenes type of thing and now that it's evolved and it makes so many non carats watch it is amazing because they're really funny and work great together and with their staff, but they're still artists not comedians, so i hope people won't reduce them to it even if they're here just for their fun and chaotic side

Woozi is the backbone of seventeen. He has co-produced every song . Everyone in the group contributes and woozi's not even my bias but without him seventeens discography and possibly their success wouldn't be the same and he did this on his own. The company didn't force him into that role he took it up upon himself to help the group thats why the boys never mess up with woozi.

Exactly. They never dare mess with him, because they really rely on his opinions, and try to do their part the best they possibly can; he may not look like it, but his aura is definitely something to acknowledge. He's a respected producer, not only in their own little circle, but also amongst other idols who praise his skills. ~ People like Woozi are hard to find nowadays.

tysm for the reaction 😇 and abt the variety over music stuff isn't true one bit bc SVT is one of those groups who have the most casual listeners imo. I always see ppl knowing the chorus/song but they don't know the artist - adore u, pretty you, clap, don't wanna cry, hit ( lol people get SHOCKED when they see that it's by SVT) • Even Non fans knows svt as a grp with great discography and music getting better w each album. You can see the progress w each album. 1. the thing is most ppl shy away from diving more into them bc they're a large group + there are so many albums which kinda overwhelm new stans especially those who're getting into kpop now( ik it might sound stupid but it happens a lot) so they're content w watching variety stuff. 2. SVT is huge in Korea + Japan as compared to the west but that has changed quite a lot since hit/fear era. 3. even tho coming from PLEDIS they made their identity in the industry. Various times in articles/show they were introduced as part of EBS (Exo, Bangtan And Svt) only 2 years after their debut. 4. Till this day their songs are used in Kpop Survival show competitions. 5. 4th gen idols always says SVT is the grp that they look up to especially for performances.

actually about SVT roasting each other,, they do, however they have explained it on interviews that there's so much love and consideration with each other that they know when to stop and what not to say to each other.. they also make it a point to let the fans know that it is only for broadcasting , as for Woozi they roast him but they are also scared of him haahahaha!! the 3 leaders were very scary before debut, SCoups , Hoshi and Woozi then the trust was built when they took those roles, Woozi being their producer, Hoshi their choreographer with their other choreographers and SCoups their leader who made sure that he is in every meeting so that he can let the member know and get their feedback. In the Weverse mag interview Hoshi and Woozi explained the process of their music creation, so basically Hoshi would let Woozi knows how and what he pictures as a performance then Woozi make it happen, they will have a meeting with the members to talk about concepts and ideas, so rly I hope you also watch the part 2. The song you liked was Touch - by Hoshi however it is an unreleased song hahaha,, they only made that for the concert.. Edit: Woozi partners up with Bumzu as a co-producer.

The thing I love about seventeen is, correct me if I'm wrong, but I rarely hear them tease about another member's physical attributes. And even if they did, they know their boundaries, and that member will take it lightly because he knows it wasn't intended to offend. Just like with uji's height, I don't think I've ever seen a video where they made fun of his height. Perhaps because the members never see that it made him less of a person. His overflowing talent overshadows his height. Idk, I just love that I stan the right group.

Who are these people loving variety over their discography??? Because to me getting into any kpop grp for that matter is about music and that's what makes you stay with a certain group. They are funny naturally and fans along with non-fans enjoy that a lottt lot..i do too but it isn't the only thing about them. Their music and performance are chef's kiss because they pour their heart and soul into them and i love watching people react to their music videos because it makes me feel soo good seeing other people also appreciating their talents..variety is something that just comes along with them yk like cherry on the top So you guys don't worry and check out their discography too ✌🏼

Yes they truly respect woozi. They were afraid of him during their training period because he and hoshi were the ones leading them so he has to be strict. He is the one who would scold the trainees if they are not giving enough effort in training. He's one of the main reasons svt is where they are right now. Pledis did really well in choosing him out of hundreds that auditioned with him. There are a lot of moments when they get really cautious as to not offend him, but a rare chance for them to roast him is during their gose insomnia something episodes when they need to sleep. I bet they only do it in front of the camera when they need to. I think he is also one of the richest among them.

but seriously, Seventeen is famous for their amazing performance. easy listening music. you can react to some of Seventeen's albums if you want, because neither the title track nor the b-sides disappoint. even at the beginning of their debut, there were many seniors who respected and liked every time they performed. For albums, you can start reacting an ode/attaca/teen age. fun variety show content is a bonus from them. they are well-liked and popular with variety shows because they're like family. not awkward and solid. Their team work is unmatched.

Woozi was responsible for seventeen's whole future as a group, a heavy responsibility he had to carry since debut, when u think that he's carrying the fate of 12 other ppl on his shoulder. Without woozi self producing songs for them, they wouldn't be where they are today, so ofc the members respect and support him a lot 😊 + seventeen jokes a lot but they wouldn't joke on something that makes other members uncomfortable, they had an agreement of mutual respect, all of them know their boundaries which makes them very close and hv amazing trust with each other as a team. Even their survival debut show wasn't like any other survival show, they bring each other up, not push others down 💖

He won that respect following the tallest member with a guitar hahahaha just joking, it's a way back reference. But seriously he is the pilar of their music, and so talented in every aspect. Also they have known each other for like 10 years, understand their personalities and when to joke around with Woozi. You'll see that on going seventeen.

before this gose is all about showing what svt are doing behind the scene, backstage situations, go on tour and so on (but still many funny moments because they will randomly create a skit or being goofy because their life is like that haha even when they were trainees in green basement there are many questionable things they’ve done) but svt themselves want to change gose as variety content because they are good at it. scoups said that if they were given roles for a skit the members would do a great job. so there’s one episode of gose they show their ideas for gose improvement incl intro and outro songs, they even show how they made gose intro songs. and gose slowly make its change at the end of 2019 and 2020 is where gose got so popular. so basically they know what they are good at, and they know variety shows also can attract more fans. even non fans watch gose. hoshi even said at weverse concert (where there are other fandoms at the venue) “if you guys watch gose, we are those kids”

there’s a reason why there are 2 fandoms in SVT. Carats and Cubics. probably some just like watching contents that they can laugh their ass off while not even interested in listening to any K-POP songs. that’s me back then, a cubic. but i turned into carats and never left 🤣

going seventeen has been there since 2017 but it become popular recently in 2020 that it has its own fandom which is cubic. there’s many articles in korea talking about gose and there’s also non fan watch gose casually as entertainment purposes. but before gose became popular, svt is already popular in korea and japan because of their music, performance and known as self producing idols. back then in korea they always mention top boygroup as EBS (EXO, BTS, SEVENTEEN). seventeen won rookie of the year after they debuted eventhough from small company. they released many songs that became hit in korea (aju nice, clap, don’t wanna cry etc) as you can see aju nice is often played in variety shows in korea because the song is so popular in korea just like growl. so my point is seventeen’s music, performance is acknowledged. their musics brought to where there are now. svt variety content is just the bonus. people like the variety content so much because because the production, the editing, their variety skills (svt is so funny like their life is like sitcom) is so good.

Thank you! Thanks to whoever requested this too! Commenting before I forget ig. Somewhat related to the suga woozi collab, there's this vid series called *bts & seventeen similarities* iirc? I rmbr they had one for each member of the group basically, one of them was: "bts & seventeen similarities: suga & woozi the genius producers" by maria p. It's kind of an old vid but pretty interesting to watch imo, I think it helps ppl understand the members pretty nice. Hope you could check it out sometime if you're interested *-more info about woozi kinda* He's worked with chanyeol exo for a song before Worked on some songs for other groups too under a diff name (baekgu): fromis_9, i.o.i, baekho (nu'est. This one was meant as a personal gift for him iirc?) Oh & about the "ppl interested svt variety stuff," this is just what I've been thinking, but I feel like it might have smth to do with going svt's popularity as a show too, the boys are funny & entertaining, ppl would rec to watch going svt bcs it's fun & helps get to know the members (even if you don't mean to stan/know them) It's probably become a rly fun thing to watch during the pandemic too since it's available on yt. Noticed a lot of ppl got into svt during those eras/bcs of going svt, hence some of them might just know recent going svt content/their variety stuff & not much about their music yet? Even non-fans would rec the show since it's fun so ig that's why most liked comment would be their variety stuff. Even fanmade vid content's are mostly about their funny moments, info about the group, their work flow, team dynamics, etc? Haven't seen much of that yet *TL;DR:* going svt popular - lots of ppl checked it out - ppl will mostly talk ab how svt's funny, but not many ppl (carat/not) would necessarily check out their music/rly get into them Me personally tho, I do hope ppl could check out more of their music too, since well, they're idols, they've trained & been through a lot. The boys literally had to learn how to be self-sufficient (produce, write lyrics, choreograph, promote themselves, etc.) as a group so they can debut since their company's rly not doing well at the time & kept having their debut pushed back until they're not even sure if they're gonna debut/not I feel kinda weird not checking out an artists' music/other works since they've literally worked on it. Ngl, there's a part of me that kinda worries svt are just known to be funny dudes & ppl don't appreciate their work. And again, no rush w checking them out, I just hope ppl could enjoy their music, get to know them & not have that enjoyment taken away Sorry this is so lengthy, I'm kinda ranting ig, just wanna get that outta my system, if you made it this far, thanks for reading & pls take care!

Sometimes, when they go on radio and the dj ask questions like, who is the best rappers, or woozi and hoshi involve in creative part so they must have the best part in song/choreo, you know fun roasting questions.. but all of them always back eachother up and praise more then roasting... i know, quite boring if you get to know their serious side.. but if you want to roasting, you can watch going seventeen insomnia zero series 1 and 2.. also Going Seventeen Debate Night series, 1 - 3... they dont hold off roasting there...

they never really messed with woozi because looking back from the start, during their trainees, Woozi is the longest trainee along with S.coups, and he's some sort of the 'leader' during their trainee days and often seen leading and teaching the members during their practices, and since seniority is a thing, they respected him a lot, he also kinda scary to them at that time I guess lol, he's really strict when it comes to practice, and it continues when he's given the role as the main producer for their group so Woozi really has a different position in the group, he's their backbone.

En Ingles por si leen esto: That people like Seventeen's variety content more than their music?? That's not true, their content started to become popular and people who don't give them the opportunity because they are "many" got to see it too, and maybe that's why you mention it but Seventeen's music is spectacular and if you start with their content you will definitely you will stay for their music and talent, because Seventeen is much more than their variety content, they have won album of the year and Woozi the award for best producer so their music is something that stands out and a lot, they are also known for their complicated choreographies, give their music a chance, they really are very versatile and talented artists.

It would be nice if you did their music video reactions here on KZbin. I don't know what video you did that got blocked but their debut song Adore You and the song Mansae will always get blocked because they are partially owned by Mnet. Mnet partially sponsored their debut so they have some rites over the videos. Other than those 2 videos all of the rest of their songs should be safe to view here.
