Hi I am glad you did this video because actualy I have NEVER used "curling/twisting" cream to do my twist out or braid out. All you need is water, an oil or a butter and the right technique meaning while you braid your damped hair you need to smooth your hair at the same time. People complain a lot about 4c hair but they forget that our hair can easily take any shape :-)
@ImadeIyamu8 жыл бұрын
do your styles last a week or more? if so, how do you make it last without holding product?
@heredianna24968 жыл бұрын
Imade One important thing I style my hair after I have shampoo and very well deep condition my hair so my hair is well moisturized and soft...And yes my twist out or braid out last a week. With my texture the smaller the twists the longer the twist out will last. What I love is doing mini twists or medium twists for a week or 2 then turn it in a twist out the next week. The longer my hair is in twists the longer my twist out will last. At night I do a high pineapple and shake my hair in the morning. When it was shorter I did several high ponytails. I don't add an oil or moisturiser during the week when it's out except for my edges. I have a get ready with me for fall in my channel where you can see how I quickly style my twist out in the morning :-) If you know how to do flat twists or cornrows the definition is even better but I suck at that :-(

honestly! the walmart near me just started selling pure shea butter and I don't think I'll ever buy another cream again besides leave in conditioner lol

I only use Shea butter to style my hair😂 I got sick of using leave in conditioner that barely sealed the moisture in my hair so I decided to switch to something more natural thwt actually works😊

I recently bought 100% African shea butter and I love it so much. It's literally the only product I use on my hair now. I melted it down and just added coconut oil and olive oil. I didn't whip mine because I just loved its natural consistency. Thanks for being so inspirational!

I actually get the best results with less products. I used Shea Butter, tiny bit of beeswax on freshly washed conditioned hair. Beautiful hair

I too only use shea butter and water. I am your older sister, I have silver gray and black hair. My hair is very thick, the shine from the shea butter last for about 10 days. I tried those expensive products. My hair takes best to the butter. I 💖 it!!!

My hair loves a little shea butter and it doesn't leave my hair dry and brittle like over the counter products do. I am about 4 years post locks and the health of my hair is good now. Thanks for your demonstrations & your hair is beautiful.

I just adore your accent :). I am glad i found this video, it reminded me of my natural hair in the beginning of my journey. Shea butter was all i ever used and my hair was beautiful and grew like weeds literally! I fell off along the way and started using other products because i second guessed what worked for MY hair. Now i am 9 years natural and having to relearn my hair. It is nothing like it use to be on my channel, yet it is coming along nicely now after some mishaps. It is truly a "journey". I bought some shea butter yesterday and will be using it after i wash my hair like old times! Your hair is beautiful, love the definition. She butter is awesome for our hair!

Yes it left my hair really soft and moisturized. The definition was soft so not really to much hold . But the definition was great if you want it to last 2/3 days.
