At the end he said "I gotta go" and sounds like he was saying I'm done with preaching and I gotta go back to heaven and complete my job next to God. It's hurting to know that he is gone and we will never hear a word from him again. We miss you so much Munroe. You were such a good teacher.

My late mother often said that divorce was worse than death - she experienced it. Many of us forget that Jesys Christ is the SAVIOUR, from all kinds of sin, and heartbreak and trouble and calamity. Jesus said - "Moses because of the hardness of your hearts suffered you to put away your wives: but from the beginning it was not so." Here Jesus puts His finger on the root of the problem - "hardheartedness". If the arteries of the heart start hardening up, then life is threatened. And if that matter is not attended to quickly death will follow. It was never intended by God that man should spearate from his wife or a wife from her husband. Marriage is meant to reflect the love God has for Israel, THOUGH He divorced her - HE DID NOT forsake her - wipe her off and start again with a Moses or a Samuel. No. He said I will gather you to Myself again and you WILL be Mine. The Book of Hosea addresses this. And Jesus likewise loved His bride - the church. Jesus laid down His life for His bride. The husband then should be ready to lay down his life for his bride - in other words live selflessly and to honour her at all times. This is why we are exhorted to grow in grace and the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. We cannot do this without the grace of God working and increasing in our lives. James says that Love covers a multitude of sins. Prverbs 10:12; 1 Peter 4:8 Paul says that Love bears all things, hopes all things, endureth all things, etc. What kind of love do we show our wives? I failed many times during my 41 years with my late wife. Do we show the love of Christ? we are called to love even in te face of unfaithfulness. Peter denied His Lord - 3 times. Did Jesus cast him off like a dirty rag - "YOU PETER, have been unfaithful to Me, so I am done with you. Jesus said a few times to His disciples, how long do I have to be put up with you? Jesu is the Saviour of any marriage - If he can save a sinner bound for Hell, who hated Him for many years, can he not save a marriage if one spouse will dare to intercede - even to fast and pray for the soul and life of that one, so that Jesus Christ maty be glorified IN the marriage? How much do we love? 1 Corinthians 13:1-8 LOVE NEVER FAILS. Jesus is Love. DO WE LOVE HIM? Do we love our spouse? Will we love our spouse even when they may betray us? Yes of course their are great emotions and pains and difficulties to face. But Jesus has promised to be with us - HASN"T HE? Do we love ourselves more than our spouse? It is true that if we do not have a right value of ourwelves,we will not have a right view of anyone elase let alone our spouse. But we are to love the other more than ourselves. May the Lord help us even as Paul wrote by the Spirit of God - “That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, “And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.” Ephesians 3 IS that what we want? TO be filled with all the fulness of God? If so, then we must be prepared to love to the uttermost even in marriage - rooted and grounded in love. Love conquers all. Love covers all sins, even adultery. Problem is that many are looking for an escape clause in the marriage 'contract' - even though it is NOT a contract but rather a covenant between the two (one man and one woman) and God. Pray. Pray and pray. Pray believing. Pray with thnaksgiving in your heart to the Lord for the victory that He has won for your marriage.

This was my first time hearing his wife speak and she is so beautiful. The spirit of the Lord was all over her. This was 15 years ago and both her and her husband have passed on, but wow...they have left an indelible mark that cannot be erased! They truly fulfilled their assignment as husband and wife on this earth. I just hope I can give that much in my life.
