ive been using the natures republic 92% aloe gel as a moisturizer for about 3 weeks now because i have super oily skin so most moisturizers is to heavy for my face, but it is so light and soothing. i don't feel like i have too much on and no additive oil. Plus I don't get as much blackheads as i did. SUPER nice in the summer. ive been wanting to try the wonder pore and black sugar mask

It is because of this video I have become very interested in Korean skin care. I had recently ordered from a company on-line called IBUYBEAUTYI and had gotten the Skin Food black sugar scrub, Skin Food tomato toner, essence, & sleeping pack, Innisfree no subum mineral powder, Etude House wonder pore freshner, Etude House dear girls oil control pact, Etude House wash off pack & clay pack. I have been using these products for two months now, and I am LOVING IT!!!!!!!!!!!! My skin is so very soft after using the sugar scrub, my complexion is brighter after using the tomato products, and I don't have oily skin through out the day when I use the powder or pact. I absolutely just love all your videos, you are so informative with the products you review. I truly do appreciate you & your site and will always await for your next video. Thank you for for all you do and I love love love the things you post. Oh and by the way, I think you're absolutely gorgeous and so pretty with or without make up. I am going to Asia (Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, & Korea) in November, and besides the amazing sites we're going to see, I can't wait to go beauty shopping! :D YAY!

I strongly recommend to use MEDIHEAL sheet mask, because is the number one sheet mast in South Korea. and Dr.Jart Sheet mask. they are all available in OliveYoung or dutyfreeshop in South Korea. or you can get via Amazon. they are all super moisturizing and soothe your irritated skin. they are a little bit more pricy than those innisfree stuff, but I can say it does much more job on your skin.

Yeah, those are really hyped up products in the Korean skincare world XD I wouldn't recommend Skinfood's Black Sugar Mask as the main exfoliator to anyone though. It is a physical peeling so it is quite harsh on the skin and can damage it. Chemical peelings are far better. But I agree that it is a very nice product, so it makes a nice add-on to chemical peelings to use maybe once a week. Laneige's water sleeping pack is also a favourite of mine but is heavily scented so some people might not like it at all. Etude House's Wonder Pore is a fail for me. It's a basic toner but nothing more. I feel like the AHA /BHA Toners from Mizon and Cosrx do the same job of pH balancing with nicer formulations. Last but not least, you should be cautious of Korean cleansers… most of them sadly have a pH that is way too high, a cleanser's pH shouldn't be over 6 in order to not destroy the moisture barrier of the skin.
@thebeautybreakdown9 жыл бұрын
Fernanda Lee Haha thank you for your recommendations! I do need to look into a chemical peel, but I just haven't done enough research yet.... haha. I'm the same with the Etude House Freshener... I like it but I feel like a lot of people like it more than I do. That's why I included. But it is just a basic toner. Maybe that's why a lot of people seem to like it? ha
@bk46449 жыл бұрын
Fernanda Lee Not only that, the Black Sugar Mask actually darkens my skin! I don't know what's wrong with me, but I just don't like that one (there are other brands that do Black Sugar masks so much better).And I feel the same about Etude House's Wonder Pore. Very basic toner that minimizes pores slightly overtime. But cleansers? American brands always burn my skin, other than Cetaphil, but no Korean cleanser has ever done that to me before.
Fernanda Lee Have you tried the strawberry version? It has much less sugar and some strawberry seeds. It is a lot gentler and the smell is to die for. Skinandtonics did a review over it and i have personally tried it. I love it. Im a frequent BHA and AHA user too but i keep a physical scrub on hand just for days my face feel a bit sluggish.

the " Mizon peptide 500" serum has literally transformed my skin. I first bought it off of peach and lily, but it's only 16-20 bucks on amazon. Works way better than any 50-100 dollar serum I have tried, even better than the skII celumination aura bright. And it feels like water, but really tightens my skin almost instantly.

theSaem's fresh bamboo soothing gel is kind of an alternative for the nature republic aloe vera gel :)) It comes in a tube which is more hygienic, and smells really good, kind of like a stream in a bamboo forest LOL. I am currently using the rice water oil cleanser and I LOVE it. However, I don't think it's anything like Bioderma. I picked up some Bioderma when I visited France and that stuff feels like water (but works awesome). But the rice water is an oil cleanser and should be used like a cleanser, not like a makeup remover. Try pumping some into your hands, rubbing them together and then washing your face like you normally would. I use this stuff after removing my eye makeup and before my usual foaming cleanser. Maybe then you'll like it!
