Can you explain (or is it in one of your other videos?) how the drumbrute triggers the sequences on the mellotron and prophet? Like I get that it's done by MIDI, but how do you have a full 4bar or 8bar chord progression playing from the mellotron without using a looper? (also thanks for the reply earlier on the Fireface, great info)

Ok let me try to explain: 1) - The BPM (in this case) is dictated by the drumbrute. 2) - The length of the sequence depends on what sequence you program into your instrument. - In case of the Mellotron - I am using the Arturia Keystep for programming a Sequence. kzbin.info/www/bejne/iHjXmJKJeNKBbLM - The Prophet 6 has a built-in 64-Step Sequencer 3) - That sequence can be one note, two, three or up to 64. 4) Time Division (1/4 or 1/8 or 1/32 or 1/8T etc.) is also programmable on the Keystep / Prophet So in a nutshell - you start the MIDI-Master and that will start whatever sequence you have programmed - if it's three notes or a 4bar, 1/4 Div or 1/32Triplets - it will be synced to the Drumbrute's BPM got it? :)
