just have to add updating this reg with the FQDN, will trigger FSP "HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Ccm\FSP\HostName" not officially supported by MS though. Officially supported route is Jays, implemented way. But does the trick if you have thousands of machines out there. Nice Series Jay well done.

Hi Nashaat All the ConfigMgr certs are retired as MS moved towards role based certs. Current alternatives are MD-100:Windows Client and MD-101: Managing Moderm Desktops. Both certs won't cover much of ConfigMgr. MD-101 is more focused on Intune.

You are welcome. It is a possibility, however, Intune cannot replace ConfigMgr.

Is a client re-install the only way to get a client to pickup the fsp?

The reason I re-installed because the client was already installed. Client will report back to FSP regardless whether it is a first install or a re-install.
