Whats the worst rot you lot have seen on a car? Any horror stories?

A guy at works dad had a damper van with crushed tin cans welded together as the foot well, because aluminium doesn't rust right. :P

The sudden cut out is over boost protection. The ecu cuts the ignition when it senses an over boost.

i had an xtreme twin plate. after a couple of hundred miles i noticed similar symptoms to what you descirbe. a slight hesitation/thud in the drivetrain that would happen once every time you got on the gas. it turned out to be the clutch hub had sheared and was moving (the hesistation) and then gripping again as the two pieces trapped themselves togethor. shortly after this i was giving it some stick and i just lost drive completely. an act clutch replaced it and ive had no issues since
